Last Sunday, August 30, 2026, the youth of St. Isidore Parish Church (SIPC) gathered in unity and faith to elect a new set of youth leaders who will carry the mission of serving, inspiring, and empowering the young people of our parish.

Mainit at masayang sinalubong ng mga kabataan mula sa ating parokya ang pagdating ni San Sebastian, kasama si Rev. Fr. Joselito Granil, gayundin ang Parish Pastoral Council (PPC) at Barangay Pastoral Council (BPC) ng ating parokya.

Mananatili si San Sebastian sa ating parokya hanggang Agosto 27, bilang bahagi ng Lakbay-Baste 2026 at paghahanda para sa World Youth Day.

Sa kabila ng masamang panahon, naging mainit at masaya ang pagtanggap ng sambayanan ng St. Isidore Parish โ€“ Caluluan sa pagdating ng ating mahal na patron, si San Sebastian.

Dala ang pananampalataya, panalangin, at pagmamahal sa ating patron, sama-sama nating sinasalubong ang isang makabuluhang paglalakbay na naglalayong higit na makilala ang buhay, tapang, at katapatan ni San Sebastian sa Diyos.

Isang makabuluhang sandali ng pagkakaisa at pananampalataya habang ang ating komunidad ay sama-samang naglalakbay kasama si San Sebastianโ€”bilang inspirasyon sa bawat isa na manatiling matatag at tapat sa ating pananampalataya.

God's invitation of love and mercy extends universally to all people. As proclaimed by the prophet Isaiah, God's house is open to every nation, leaving no one left out.

The Canaanite womanโ€™s short prayer, โ€œ๐‹๐จ๐ซ๐, ๐ก๐ž๐ฅ๐ฉ ๐ฆ๐ž,โ€ shows what deep faith looks like. Even when Jesus seemed silent and things got tough, she didn't give up and Jesus praised her strong belief.

โ€‹Her story teaches us to keep trusting God, even when life is hard or our prayers seem delayed. He's still working behind the scenes. It also reminds us to treat everyone with that same kind of love making sure our hearts and communities welcome all people, no exceptions. In the end, we're called to have her persistent faith, Christ's kindness, and an open door for everyone.

19th Sunday in Ordinary Time

"The storm will pass when you believe in His love for you. Lean on what's stable and all your worries will fade away".

Proverbs 29:25 : The fear of man lays a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord is safe.

Life brings many hard times. Some troubles are clear for everyone to see like getting sick, money problems, family fights, or losing someone you love. Other struggles happen quietly inside us like fear, worry, sadness, loneliness, or feeling empty.

Through every hard moment, Jesus is always right there with us. He shows up in ways we might not expect and asks us to trust Him.
