UCCF Care Group and Meditating on John 3:26–33 (June 18, 2025)

This week in our UCCF Care Group, we take time to share God’s accomplishments and meditate on John 3:26–33, a passage that calls us to humility, joy, and Christ-centered living.

In the passage, John the Baptist’s followers are concerned that Jesus is gaining more attention. But John responds with peace and joy, saying, “He must increase, but I must decrease” (v.30). John understood his role—not to gain fame, but to point others to Jesus.

As we meditate on these verses, we’re reminded:

• Life is not about making ourselves greater, but making Jesus known.
• True joy comes from seeing Christ glorified, even if we are in the background.

In our care group, we’re encouraged to share where we’ve seen God’s goodness this week—whether through answered prayer, comfort in hard times, or opportunities to exalt Jesus. These stories build each other up and point back to God’s faithfulness.

As we support and pray for one another, may we grow in humility, joy, and a deeper love for Christ.

UCCF Sunday Service & Acknowledgment of Newly Ordained Reverends - June 15, 2025

The United Christ Centered Fellowship (UCCF) celebrated Father’s Day with a meaningful Sunday service, where Rev. Randy Caritativo shared a powerful message titled “A Father After God’s Own Heart,” based on Psalm 112:1-2. The passage speaks of the blessings that come to those who fear the Lord and delight in His commands — a legacy that extends to their children.

Rev. Caritativo outlined four key points in his message:

I. The Foundation of Fatherhood: A Fear of the Lord
True fatherhood begins with reverence for God. A man who fears the Lord lays a strong spiritual foundation for his home.

II. The Example of Fatherhood: God the Father
God Himself is the ultimate model of fatherhood — loving, just, patient, and full of grace. Fathers are called to reflect His character.

III. The Calling of Fatherhood: Legacy Building
A godly father leaves more than material inheritance; he leaves a spiritual legacy that shapes generations.

IV. The Strength of Fatherhood: God’s Grace
Fatherhood is not easy, but God's grace empowers and sustains every father in their daily journey.

After the message, a joyful and spirit-filled service marked by a special recognition of two newly ordained ministers: Rev. Jun Quilojano, Jr. and Rev. Randy Caritativo.

UCCF celebrates this new chapter in the lives of Rev. Quilojano and Rev. Caritativo and looks forward with hope and excitement to the fruit their ministries will bear in the church and beyond.

UCCF Sunday Service with Ptra. Karen – June 1, 2025
Message from Jeremiah 33:1-3

On Sunday, June 1, 2025, the United Christ Center Fellowship (UCCF) held a spirit-filled worship service with Ptra. Karen delivering a powerful message rooted in Jeremiah 33:1-3. The passage served as a reminder of God's faithfulness and His invitation to call upon Him in times of uncertainty.

Ptr. Karen emphasized the Lord’s promise: “Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.” She encouraged the congregation to remain steadfast in prayer and to trust that God is working even in silence and difficulty. Drawing parallels from the prophet Jeremiah's time in prison, she illustrated how God speaks most clearly when we are most in need.

The service was filled with worship, heartfelt prayers, and members were reminded that no situation is beyond God's reach. The message left many feeling uplifted and inspired to deepen their prayer life and trust in God's timing and revelation.

The UCCF continues to be a space where believers are empowered through the Word and fellowship, strengthened by the promises of Scripture like those found in Jeremiah 33.

UCCF Sunday Service: "ISAAC – The Beloved Son" by Rev. Bernardo Que

The United Christ Centered Fellowship (UCCF) held a powerful Sunday service featuring the message “ISAAC – The Beloved Son” delivered by Reverend Bernardo Que. The teaching focused on key passages from Genesis 22 and 26, exploring Isaac’s role in God’s covenant and his journey of faith.

Rev. Que reflected on Genesis 22, where Abraham is tested by God through the command to sacrifice Isaac, and highlighted Isaac’s willingness and obedience—a parallel to Christ's submission to the Father. From Genesis 26, the message emphasized God’s continued blessing on Isaac despite opposition, showcasing God's faithfulness across generations.

The sermon reminded attendees that Isaac's life is a testimony to God’s promises, calling believers to live with trust, obedience, and confidence in God's plan. The service concluded with a time of reflection and prayer, encouraging everyone to respond with faith, just as Isaac did.

Encountering Jesus: A Care Group Reflection on Luke 19:1–10 (May 28, 2025)

Luke 19:1–10 tells the story of Zacchaeus, a wealthy tax collector in Jericho who climbs a tree just to catch a glimpse of Jesus. What unfolds is a powerful moment of personal transformation that offers deep lessons for our lives and for our Christian communities, like UCCF care groups.

Zacchaeus was seen as a sinner—despised and excluded by society. Yet, Jesus saw beyond the labels. He called Zacchaeus by name and chose to stay at his house. This act of love and acceptance shocked the crowd, but it demonstrated the very heart of the gospel: Jesus came “to seek and to save the lost” (Luke 19:10).

For care groups, this passage is a call to model the radical hospitality and grace of Jesus. We’re reminded that no one is beyond His reach and that personal encounters with Christ lead to real change. Zacchaeus’s response—giving to the poor and repaying those he wronged—shows how meeting Jesus transforms our values, relationships, and actions.

As we gather in our care groups, may we create spaces where people feel seen, welcomed, and challenged to grow in faith, just like Zacchaeus did. Jesus still seeks the lost, and often, He does so through us.

Faith That Bears Fruit – A UCCF Small Group Reflection on Matthew 21:18–22, May 21, 2025 (Wednesday Night)

In Matthew 21:18–22, Jesus encounters a fig tree that looks healthy from a distance but bears no fruit. He responds by withering the tree, using it as a powerful picture of what it means to live a life that’s outwardly religious but inwardly empty.

For our UCCF small group, this passage reminds us that God desires more than appearances—He wants real, growing faith. Just as the fig tree was expected to bear fruit, our lives are meant to reflect the truth and power of the gospel.

That’s why small groups matter. We gather not only to study Scripture, but to encourage one another—to spur each other on when our faith feels weak, to pray for one another when we struggle to believe, and to celebrate when we see God at work in our lives.

Jesus ends the passage by teaching about faith and prayer. He calls His disciples to believe boldly and pray confidently, trusting in God’s power. It’s a challenge to examine our own lives: Are we truly living by faith, and are we bearing the kind of fruit that brings God glory?

As we gather this week, let’s reflect on what genuine faith looks like, pray for hearts that trust God fully, and encourage one another to live lives that are not just full of leaves—but full of fruit.
