Jesus is risen! Alleluia!

With joyful hearts, we—the faithful of GKK Sta. Maria Chapel—celebrate the victory of Christ over death. The empty tomb is a powerful reminder that God’s love never fails, and His mercy renews us each day.

This Easter, we are called to rise with Jesus—not only in celebration, but in our daily lives. Let us leave behind our fears, anger, and doubts, and embrace a new life filled with faith, unity, and compassion. Just as Christ brought light into the darkness, may we also become instruments of His light in our families and in our community.

May the risen Lord strengthen our faith, guide our journey, and bless every home. Let His resurrection inspire us to love more deeply, forgive more freely, and serve more faithfully.

Jesus is risen! Alleluia! Alleluia!🙏

GOOD FRIDAY

As we walk together in the Procession of the 14 Stations of the Cross here in GKK Sta. Maria Chapel of Sitio Dunga Lahek, we are not just remembering a story from the past—we are entering into the journey of Christ’s love, sacrifice, and mercy.

Each station reflects a moment of pain, humility, and surrender. Jesus falls, is judged, is burdened, and is stripped of everything—yet He continues to walk. In every step He takes, we see not only His suffering, but His deep love for us. This procession reminds us that life, too, is a journey filled with trials, burdens, and moments when we feel like falling. But just like Christ, we are called to rise again, to continue, and to trust in God’s greater purpose.

As a community, walking side by side, we carry not only our personal crosses but also the struggles of one another. The Stations invite us to reflect: Who do we become in Christ’s journey? Are we like Simon who helps carry the cross? Veronica who wipes His face? Or do we sometimes become like those who judge and condemn?

In this sacred walk, we are reminded that suffering is not the end. The Cross leads to resurrection. Pain leads to hope. Darkness leads to light.

May this procession strengthen our faith, deepen our compassion, and renew our commitment to follow Christ—not only in moments of prayer, but in our daily lives. Let us carry our crosses with courage, knowing that we do not walk alone. Christ walks with us.

And in every step we take, may we find not only sacrifice—but also love, healing, and salvation.

HOLY THURSDAY

As we witness the washing of the feet and remember the Last Supper, we are invited into a deeper kind of love—one that humbles itself in service. Jesus, our Teacher and Lord, knelt before His disciples, not to be served, but to serve. In that simple yet powerful act, He showed us that true greatness is found in humility.

The Last Supper is not only a remembrance of a meal, but a covenant of love. It reminds us that even in the face of betrayal and suffering, Jesus chose to love until the very end. “One of you will betray me,” He said—yet He still washed their feet. This challenges us: can we love even when it is difficult? Can we serve even those who hurt us?

Tonight calls us to examine our hearts—to remove pride, to forgive freely, and to serve others with sincerity. Because to follow Christ is not only to believe in Him, but to live as He lived.

May we carry this message beyond the church: to love without condition, to serve without hesitation, and to remain faithful even in trials.

On this sacred celebration of Holy Week, we, the faithful of Sta. Maria Chapel in Sitio Dungan Lahek, Barangay Saravia, City of Koronadal, humbly come together as one community in prayer, reflection, and faith.

As we remember the passion, death, and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, may His great sacrifice remind us of the depth of His love and mercy. Let this Holy Week be a time for us to renew our hearts, seek forgiveness, and strengthen our relationship with God and one another.

In every cross we carry, may we find courage. In every suffering, may we discover hope. And in the promise of the resurrection, may we embrace new life filled with grace, compassion, and unity.

May this Holy Week bring peace to every home, healing to every burdened heart, and faith that continues to guide us as one family in Christ.

From Sta. Maria Chapel, we wish everyone a meaningful, blessed, and grace-filled Holy Week.

As we enter the beautiful month of October, we are reminded of the powerful devotion to the Most Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The Rosary is not only a prayer of repetition, but a prayer of reflection, leading us to meditate on the life, death, and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ through the loving eyes of Mary, His Mother.

Every bead we hold, every Hail Mary we recite, and every mystery we reflect upon draws us closer to God’s infinite love and mercy. It is a weapon against trials, a source of comfort in sorrow, and a light that guides us in times of darkness.

This month, let us deepen our faith by praying the Rosary daily—not only for our own intentions but also for peace in the world, unity in our families, strength in our struggles, and hope for all who are lost and weary.

May the Blessed Mother continue to intercede for us, protect us with her mantle of love, and lead us always to her Son, Jesus Christ. 💙🙏

“Pray the Rosary every day, to obtain peace for the world and the end of wars.”
— Our Lady of Fatima
