With deep sorrow, the Diocese of Marbel announces the passing of REV. FR. FLORO M. LITIGIO, who died today, March 9, 2026.

Fr. Floro was born on December 22, 1947, in Lagao, General Santos City.

He was ordained to the priesthood on April 20, 1974, at Sts. Peter and Paul Parish, Lagao, General Santos City, by Most Rev. Reginald Arliss, CP, D.D.

Let us pray for the eternal repose of his soul and thank God for the gift of his priestly life and ministry.

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord,
and let perpetual light shine upon him.
May he rest in peace. Amen.

In this season of Lent, we are reminded to pause, reflect, and return to God. As the prophet proclaims, “𝘙𝘦𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘯 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘓𝘰𝘳𝘥 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘎𝘰𝘥, 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘏𝘦 𝘪𝘴 𝘨𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘪𝘰𝘶𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘮𝘦𝘳𝘤𝘪𝘧𝘶𝘭, 𝘴𝘭𝘰𝘸 𝘵𝘰 𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘳 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘪𝘯 𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘧𝘢𝘴𝘵 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦” (Joel 2:13).

The 𝙋𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙝 𝙎𝙤𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙡 𝘼𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙞𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙚 (𝙋𝙎𝘼𝘾) assisted the 𝐇𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐨𝐟 𝐉𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞 and the 𝙋𝙖𝙧𝙤𝙡𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙗𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙢, and conducted a 𝗖𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻-𝗨𝗽 𝗗𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗚𝘆𝗺.

The 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵𝗹𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 on Non-Drug Cases was submitted on the 1𝘀𝘁 𝗪𝗲𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆, while the Monthly Report on Drug-Related Cases was submitted on the 2𝗻𝗱 𝗪𝗲𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆 of the month.

Regular assistors 𝗡𝗲𝗹𝗳𝗮 𝗘𝗹𝗺𝗮𝗴𝘂𝗶𝗻, 𝗝𝗼 𝗗𝗲𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗼, 𝗥𝗲𝗺𝗶 𝗟𝗲𝗽𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗻, and 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗲 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗹𝗼, together with the 𝗣𝗦𝗔𝗖 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽, actively attended and participated in the activities.
