A Birthday of Promise: Life, Love, and New Beginnings

Today we celebrate the blessed birthday of Jaja Rhea Mae Nambong Sta. Ana—a wonderful woman of faith, love, and grace. We thank God for the beautiful life He has given you and the joy you bring to your husband Albert James Sta. Ana, your biological families, and your spiritual families from VCF Koronadal, South Cotabato and VCF Purity Home Church. May this new year of your life overflow with God’s goodness, favor, and divine purpose. “The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make His face shine upon you.” — Numbers 6:24–25

On this special day, we lift up heartfelt prayers and speak a blessing over your marriage. May the Lord remember your desire and fill your home with laughter and the gift of new life. As it is written, “Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from Him.” — Psalm 127:3. By faith we declare that your home will be filled with joy, hope, and the sweet sound of a child’s laughter in God’s perfect time.

We also declare God’s promise over you: “Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart.” — Psalm 37:4. May this birthday mark the beginning of a season of answered prayers, miracles, and fulfillment. Surrounded by the love and prayers of your spiritual family and biological family, may your life continue to shine as a testimony of God’s faithfulness.
Happy Birthday, Jaja! May your year be filled with love, blessings, and the miracle of new life.

Sunday Morning Service at Jaja Rhea Jha Nambong-Sta Ana and Albert James Sta Ana with the message,

"TIME OF REFRESHING"

“Repent… that times of refreshing may come from the Lord.” — Acts 3:19

True refreshing does not come from vacation, money, or people.
It begins when we:

1️⃣ Examine ourselves
2️⃣ Repent today
3️⃣ Confess Jesus as Lord
4️⃣ Walk in newness of life

When we turn back to God, He cleanses our hearts, restores our joy, and gives us a new life in Christ.

If you feel tired, burdened, or spiritually dry — come back to Him.
Refreshing comes from the presence of the Lord.

Guard Your Heart as a Professional

In the Parable of the Prodigal Son (Luke 15:11–32), we see two dangers professionals must avoid: pride and bitterness.
The younger son lost everything because of reckless decisions.

The older son lost joy because of resentment.
Both had a heart issue.

As professionals, we must guard our hearts:
✔️ From pride when we succeed
✔️ From compromise when pressured
✔️ From comparison when others advance
✔️ From bitterness when unrecognized

Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.” – Proverbs 4:23
Skills may build our career,
but character sustains our calling.

Let us lead with humility, integrity, and a heart aligned with the Father.

John 21 for Day 21 (Last Day)

Restored, Recommissioned, and Ready

After the resurrection, Jesus appears to His disciples by the Sea of Galilee. They fish all night and catch nothing—until Jesus tells them to cast the net again. This time, the catch is overflowing, reminding them that fruitfulness comes from obedience to His word.

Jesus prepares breakfast for them—simple, personal, and full of grace. Then He restores Peter publicly by asking him three times, “Do you love Me?”—mirroring Peter’s three denials. With each confession of love, Jesus recommissions him: “Feed My sheep.” The chapter ends with a clear call: “Follow Me.”

As we end these 21 days of Daniel’s Fast, John 21 feels deeply personal.

From emptiness to abundance: Like the disciples, we may have started tired, uncertain, or dry—but obedience during this fast has realigned us with God’s direction. The empty nets were never the end.

From discipline to intimacy: Fasting wasn’t just about restraint; it was about sitting with Jesus at the shore—learning to receive, not just to strive.

From failure to restoration: Jesus doesn’t shame Peter; He restores him. This final day reminds us that God is not finished with us—He recommissions us.

From seeking to following: The fast ends, but the call remains—“Follow Me.” What began as consecration now becomes mission.

The Daniel’s Fast ends today, but our obedience continues. We step forward not just spiritually cleansed, but spiritually commissioned—to love Jesus deeply, to serve faithfully, and to follow Him wholeheartedly.

Lord, we lay down our nets, receive Your restoration, and say yes again—send us.

From Empty Tomb to Living Faith

John 20 for Day 20

John 20 declares the glorious truth of the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Early on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene discovers that the stone has been removed from the tomb. Peter and John run to the tomb and find the burial cloths lying there—clear evidence that Jesus is no longer dead. Though they do not yet fully understand, belief begins to rise.

Mary stays behind, weeping. Jesus appears to her, and when He calls her by name, she recognizes Him. She becomes the first witness of the resurrection and is sent to tell the disciples that the Lord is alive.

Later, Jesus appears to the disciples, speaking peace over their fear and breathing on them the Holy Spirit. Thomas, who was not present, doubts. When Jesus later appears again, He invites Thomas to touch His wounds. Thomas responds in faith, declaring, “My Lord and my God!”

The chapter concludes by stating that these events were written so that people may believe that Jesus is the Christ and may have life in His name.

John 20 shows us that the resurrection changes everything.
Jesus meets people in sorrow, confusion, fear, and doubt—and transforms them through His living presence.

Mary’s tears were turned into testimony.

Thomas’ doubt was turned into deep confession of faith.

The disciples’ fear was turned into peace and mission.

The risen Christ reminds us that when all seems finished, God is just beginning. Faith is not the absence of questions—it is choosing to believe when Jesus reveals Himself.

The empty tomb leads to a living faith, and living faith leads to eternal life.

John 19 — Day 19

John 19 centers on the suffering, crucifixion, death, and burial of Jesus. Though innocent, Jesus is mocked, beaten, and sentenced under pressure from the crowd. On the cross, He fulfills Scripture, cares for His mother, and declares, “It is finished.” With His final breath, Jesus willingly gives up His life. A soldier confirms His death, and Joseph of Arimathea—with Nicodemus—honors Him with burial. The chapter reveals that the cross was not an accident, but the fulfillment of God’s redemptive plan as recorded in the Gospel of John.

John 19 shows us that love often looks like sacrifice. Jesus did not resist the cross—He embraced it for our salvation. When He said, “It is finished,” He declared that the price for sin was fully paid—nothing left for us to earn, only to receive by faith.

This chapter invites us to reflect deeply:

In suffering, Jesus remained faithful—teaching us obedience even when it costs.

In silence, Jesus revealed strength—showing trust in the Father’s will.

In death, Jesus brought life—turning the cross into a doorway of hope.

As we walk daily—through trials, responsibilities, and quiet acts of obedience—John 19 reminds us that God is at work even in pain. When our journey feels heavy, we look to the cross and remember: God’s love has already gone the full distance for us.

John 18 for Day 18

Gospel of John 18 — The King Who Submits to the Father’s Will
John 18 records the arrest and trial of Jesus, revealing His authority, obedience, and unwavering commitment to God’s plan—even in suffering.
Summary
The chapter begins in the Garden of Gethsemane, where Judas betrays Jesus with a detachment of soldiers. When they come to arrest Him, Jesus steps forward boldly, declaring “I am He,” causing the soldiers to fall back—showing His divine authority even as He allows Himself to be taken.
Peter attempts to defend Jesus by cutting off the ear of the high priest’s servant, but Jesus stops him, choosing obedience to the Father over violence. Jesus is then brought before Annas and Caiaphas for questioning, while Peter denies knowing Him three times, fulfilling Jesus’ earlier prophecy.
Later, Jesus stands before Pontius Pilate. Pilate questions Him about being a king, and Jesus explains that His kingdom is not of this world—it is a kingdom of truth. Despite finding no guilt in Him, Pilate gives in to the crowd’s demand and releases Barabbas, a criminal, instead of Jesus.
Jesus’ authority in surrender – He is not overpowered; He willingly submits.
Obedience to God’s will – Jesus chooses the cup the Father has given Him.
Human weakness vs. divine faithfulness – Peter denies, but Jesus remains faithful.
Truth vs. political pressure – Pilate recognizes Jesus’ innocence yet yields to the crowd.
John 18 reminds us that Jesus is King—even when bound, mocked, and rejected. His power is revealed not through force, but through love, truth, and obedience. When we face fear, pressure, or failure like Peter, this chapter calls us back to repentance and faith, trusting that God’s purposes prevail even in dark moments.

Purified Sunday with the message "EXPECT TO RECEIVE" at Blingkong Group,Lutayan, Sultan Kudarat

Many people pray, but not all expect.
Yet the Bible reminds us that expectation is the posture of faith.
Jesus said, “Have faith in God… believe that you have received, and it will be yours” (Mark 11:22–24).
To expect to receive means:
• Trusting God’s character
• Acting in obedience
• Walking in humility
• Aligning with God’s will
• Persisting in prayer
• Living in forgiveness
Faith is not wishful thinking—it is confidence in who God is.
When God speaks, faith responds.
When God hears, God answers.

“Lord, I choose to believe.
I choose to expect.
I trust Your Word and receive by faith.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
"Expectation honors God, because it trusts Him completely."

Thank you Albert James Sta Ana and Rhea Jha Nambong-Sta Ana for making your Home as extension of God's Kingdom.

Glory to God!

John 17 for Day 17

“The Prayer of Jesus”

John 17 records Jesus’ longest recorded prayer, often called the High Priestly Prayer, offered just before His arrest. Jesus prays in three main parts:

Jesus prays for Himself (vv. 1–5)
He asks the Father to glorify Him so He may glorify the Father, affirming that eternal life is knowing the only true God and Jesus Christ whom He sent.

Jesus prays for His disciples (vv. 6–19)
He prays for their protection, unity, joy, and sanctification by the truth of God’s Word. Though they are in the world, they are not of the world, and Jesus sends them just as the Father sent Him.

Jesus prays for all believers (vv. 20–26)
Jesus prays for those who will believe through the disciples’ message—that they may be one, just as He and the Father are one. This unity is meant to show the world God’s love and that Jesus was truly sent by the Father.

Eternal life is found in knowing God and Jesus personally
Believers are called to live in unity and truth
Jesus’ love and concern extend to all future believers

John 17 reminds us that even before the cross, Jesus was thinking of us. He prayed not only for His disciples but also for every believer who would come after them. Our unity, love, and obedience become a living testimony to the world of God’s grace and truth. When we walk in oneness with God and with one another, we answer the prayer Jesus Himself prayed
