Youth from different places, each carrying unique life stories, doubts, hopes, and personal discernments gathered for a powerful night of fellowship, faith, and transformative encounters with God. The night surely is a vivid reminder that no matter where we come from, we are all searching for purpose and listening for the same gentle call.

The event was filled with life from start to finish. Through inspiring speaker sessions, interactive games, and creative expressions, participants were able to explore their faith in ways that felt authentic, joyful, and relatable. The atmosphere wasn't just vibrant, it was a sacred space where young people felt safe to ask big questions, reflect deeply, and open their hearts to what God might be preparing for them.

Beyond the stage and the planned activities, the true beauty of VocJam 2026 happened in the quiet moments, the shared laughter, the solemn silence during prayer, and the honest conversations late into the night.

We walk away with heartfelt gratitude for every conversation shared, every prayer lifted, and every intentional step taken closer to Godโ€™s unique purpose for our lives. The weekend may have ended, but the journey of answering the call has only just begun.

The Vocation Jamboree (VocJam) 2026 officially commences through a holy mass. Mass presider Rev. Fr. Erwin Semaรฑa encourages each and every one of us to not be afraid to answer the call of God. He also reminds us that despite the noise of the world, especially of what social media brings, the voice of God shall always prevail.

The Lord calls, and He provides through His endless grace.

โ€œIf the people are there, the Church needs to be there.โ€

During his homily at the Closing Eucharistic Celebration of the St. Carlo Acutis Vicariate Visitation and Media Formation, Rev. Fr. Dennis Rey C. Ortojan, DCT, reminded us of the Churchโ€™s mission to go where the people are.

As Social Communications volunteers and digital missionaries, we should not remain only where we are comfortable. We are also called to go where people can be found and reached. If people are on social media, then the Church needs to be there.

Through our digital platforms, we have the opportunity to share the Gospel, nurture faith, and lead people closer to Christ.

The mission continues wherever the people are.
