A fellowship, held on February 4, 2026 at 12:05 PM, was a meaningful time of reflection and spiritual renewal as Sir Patrick Jomar M. Jover shared God’s Word with the community. The preacher emphasized that a Christ-centered life is seen through the fruits of the Holy Spirit, which serve as visible evidence of a heart transformed by God. True repentance, he shared, comes when we recognize God’s holiness and respond with humility. As believers, we are called to be an image of God’s love and character, allowing the fruits of the Spirit to shape our attitudes, choices, and relationships.

The message also highlighted that our lifestyle must be anchored in God’s will and direction, trusting Him even when we feel imperfect. God remains faithful through every season, and we are encouraged to acknowledge Him daily through service, praise, and continual fellowship with Him. A genuine encounter with God is not meant to be occasional—it is something we are called to experience every day.

To culminate this year’s 𝗟𝘂𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗵𝗮𝘆𝗮𝘄 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆, the 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆 was blessed to be recognized as the 𝗢𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗼𝗻 and 𝗕𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗕𝗼𝗼𝘁𝗵 during 𝗟𝘂𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗵𝗮𝘆𝗮𝘄 2026 at the University of Southern Mindanao – Kidapawan City Campus.

This achievement is the fruit of the unity, commitment, love, and unwavering support shared by our brothers and sisters in Christ, all working together with God at the center of everything we do. Truly, God has been so gracious to us—without Him, none of this would have been possible.

We thank the Lord for the wisdom, camaraderie, and strength He bestowed upon everyone involved, and most especially for making this victory possible. All glory and honor belong to God alone, to whom all praise is due!

The gathering focused on planning and coordination to ensure meaningful and well-organized activities for the student community.

On December 6, 2025, the Heralds of Christ Community Church in Davao del Sur, Philippines, hosted the transformative "𝐆𝐨𝐝’𝐬 𝐄𝐧𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐑𝐞𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭." It was a sacred time of seeking His presence and experiencing His power. Members gathered with expectant hearts, and we witnessed a powerful move of the Holy Spirit as lives were touched and spirits were renewed. We are still basking in the testimony of what God did during those powerful hours of encounter.

𝐀 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞: 𝐑𝐞𝐟𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐧 𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐬𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧

On December 17, 2025, we gathered at the Old Chem Lab Classroom for a beautiful time of worship and gratitude. Our theme for the day was simple yet profound: “Thanking God for Everything.” This celebration was so much more than just a scheduled event; it served as a powerful moment for every member of our ministry to unite in deep fellowship. It provided us all with a sacred space to pause, reflect, and rejoice in the incredible greatness God has bestowed upon us throughout this year.

2025: 𝐀 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐞
God has been incredibly gracious throughout 2025. We have witnessed our ministry grow not just in numbers, but in spirit. We are a community on fire for Christ, and our hearts are full as we welcome the many new brothers and sisters who joined our family this year.

𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐰𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠:

We recognize that our growth is not by our own strength. With God at the center—exactly as prophesied—this ministry is flourishing because He did it. He is the architect of our expansion and the source of our unity.

𝗕𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗢𝗯𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲

𝗟𝘂𝗸𝗲 5:1–11 𝗧𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆 · 12:05 𝗣𝗠 · 𝗨𝗦𝗠 𝗞𝗖𝗖 𝗢𝗹𝗱 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗺 𝗟𝗮𝗯 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺 · 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝗕𝗿𝗼. 𝗔𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗮𝘁

The Connect Ministry gathered today at the USM KCC ROTC Field for a meaningful and spirit-filled reflection on the theme “𝘉𝘭𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴 𝘪𝘯 𝘖𝘣𝘦𝘥𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦,” grounded in Luke 5:1–11.

What is the true evidence of being a follower of Jesus Christ?
𝘖𝘣𝘦𝘥𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦.

1. 𝗢𝗯𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲

Just as Jesus instructed, “Put out a little from the shore” before saying, “Launch into the deep,” we are reminded that obedience grows step-by-step.
We obey the Lord even in the little things—the simple, everyday acts of faithfulness. Although these may seem small, they are significant in the eyes of God.
Obedience is not about how big or small the action is; it is about the heart that obeys.

2. 𝗢𝗯𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲

Verse 11 says, “So they pulled their boats up on shore, left everything, and followed Him.”
True obedience has a cost. It requires surrender and letting go of certain things in our lives. Yet in choosing Christ, we gain far more than we could ever lose.

𝗔 𝗺𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗵𝗼𝗽𝗲
Here’s the good news: 𝘖𝘶𝘳 𝘴𝘦𝘤𝘶𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘪𝘴 𝘧𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥 𝘪𝘯 𝘑𝘦𝘴𝘶𝘴!
Not in career, money, or success—but in the Source, not the blessings.
When you have Jesus Christ in your life, you have everything.

In collaboration with the Connect Ministry, the Heralds of Christ Community Church held a meaningful 𝗣𝗿𝗲-𝗘𝗻𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗪𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗚𝗼𝗱 last 𝗡𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 22, 2025. This initiative was led by our student-president, Bro. Earl Sumandig, who proposed this gathering with the desire to help students deepen their spiritual walk, strengthen their understanding of God, and center Him in every aspect of their lives.

The event became a special opportunity for students to fellowship in unity, sharing a common desire to draw nearer to God and reflect on the calling He has placed upon each of us.

To God be the highest glory and honor!

𝗢𝘂𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 𝘁𝗼 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘆𝗮𝘀 | The Connect Ministry participated in Mayor Pao Evangelista’s relief initiative in response to the massive flooding and flash floods that struck several areas in the Visayas due to Typhoon Tino. Donations—including goods and clothing—were delivered directly to the Municipal Gymnasium of Kidapawan City on November 7, 2025.

The ministry expressed gratitude for the opportunity to extend help, affirming that God blesses His people so they may be a blessing to others in times of need. 𝘎𝘭𝘰𝘳𝘺 𝘵𝘰 𝘎𝘰𝘥!

Our weekly 𝗪𝗲𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗙𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 continues at the 𝗢𝗹𝗱 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗺 𝗟𝗮𝗯 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺, 𝗨𝗦𝗠–𝗞𝗖𝗖.

As God’s people, we are called to gather for 𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵-𝗻𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗮𝗰𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿—all in the presence of God and His church. The Lord invites us into worship not as a burden, but as an expression of His love, knowing what strengthens and sustains us.

𝐍𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 12, 2025 | The Connect Ministry joyfully welcomed Heralds of Christ Community Church as our guest preachers during a recent fellowship gathering. It was a meaningful time of sharing God’s Word and strengthening our faith as one community in Christ.

Anchored on 1 John 1:3 — “Our fellowship is with the Father and His Son, Jesus Christ” — the message reminded us that true fellowship begins with a shared relationship with God. We were also encouraged by Hebrews 10:24–25, which calls believers to gather together, inspire one another, and remain steadfast in love and good works.

The gathering echoed the spirit of Acts 2:42, as we devoted ourselves to learning, prayer, and unity. Just as Proverbs 27:17 teaches, “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another,” the fellowship became an opportunity to uplift and refine one another through God’s Word.

We are grateful for the presence and service of The Herald of Christ’s Church. May the seeds planted continue to grow in faith, love, and purpose within our ministry.
