𝗕𝘂𝗵𝗮𝘆 𝗺𝘂𝗹𝗮 𝘀𝗮 𝗧𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗽𝗮𝘆 𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝘂𝗵𝗮𝘆: 𝗦𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗕𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝘀𝗮 𝗚𝗮𝗱𝗮𝗻

In a spirit of faith, prayer, and thanksgiving, the faithful of the Basic Ecclesial Community of Our Mother of Perpetual Help of Gadan gathered at the community chapel for the Sunday Bible Service. The celebration was presided over by Mr. Orly Q. Gantala, Lay Liturgical Minister, and was attended by GKK officials, ministry heads, and members of the community.

In the wider celebration of the Word, Mr. Kevin N. Mariñas and Mr. Eric M. Obispado, both Lay Liturgical Ministers of GKK Gadan, likewise presided over Sunday Bible Services in the Basic Ecclesial Communities of St. Francis of Assisi of Nuling and Our Lady of Immaculate Conception of Lomuyon Baybay, respectively, extending the shared mission of proclaiming and breaking open the Word of God within neighboring communities of faith.

The reflection centered on the Gospel for the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ (Corpus Christi Sunday) from John 6:51–58. Through the sharing of the Word, the faithful reflected on Jesus Christ as the Living Bread come down from heaven, who offers His Body and Blood for the life and salvation of the world.

The gathering served as a reminder of the immeasurable gift of the Holy Eucharist—the enduring presence of Christ among His people, nourishing them with grace, strengthening their faith, and calling them to live a life of love and service. As one community, the faithful renewed their commitment to remain united with Christ and with one another through the Bread of Life.

May the Lord continue to bless our GKK, deepen our love for the Holy Eucharist, and strengthen us through His Word as we journey together in faith.

𝗨𝗻𝗮 𝘀𝗮 𝗞𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗱𝗮𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗻: 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗹𝘆 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

In a spirit of communion, collaboration, and shared mission, the Church Leaders and Ministry Heads from all Basic Ecclesial Communities under St. Anthony de Padua Parish of Kiamba gathered for the Monthly Parish General Assembly.

The gathering commenced with the celebration of the Holy Mass, presided over by Rev. Fr. Joel S. Sunga, our Parish Priest, who reminded the faithful of the importance of unity, active participation, and faithful stewardship in the life and mission of the Church.

The Basic Ecclesial Community of Our Mother of Perpetual Help of Gadan actively participated in the assembly, joining fellow leaders and ministry workers in discussions, updates, planning, and reflections aimed at strengthening the pastoral programs and evangelizing mission of the parish.

May this monthly gathering continue to inspire all church leaders to work hand in hand in building vibrant and faith-filled communities, united in service to God and His people.

𝙏𝙞𝙣𝙪𝙙-𝙖𝙣 𝙨𝙖 𝙋𝙖𝙜𝙩𝙤𝙤, 𝙋𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙜-𝙤𝙣 𝙨𝙖 𝙋𝙖𝙜𝙩𝙤

The recent magnitude 7.8 earthquake that struck Kiamba, Sarangani left visible marks of destruction in many places, including our beloved Chapel of Our Mother of Perpetual Help of the Basic Ecclesial Community of Gadan. The powerful tremor caused damage to parts of our humble house of worship, reminding us of the fragility of earthly structures in the face of nature's force.

Yet, amid the cracks and damages, our faith remains unshaken. While the chapel may have suffered physically, the spirit of our community continues to stand firm, united in prayer, hope, and trust in God's providence through the intercession of Our Mother of Perpetual Help.

We humbly ask for your prayers for the safety and recovery of all affected families and communities. May this challenging moment become an opportunity for us to strengthen our solidarity and rebuild not only our chapel but also our commitment to serve God and one another.

𝗞𝗥𝗜𝗦𝗞𝗔 𝗦𝗘𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡: 𝗡𝗔𝗚𝗞𝗔𝗛𝗜𝗨𝗦𝗔 𝗦𝗔 𝗣𝗨𝗟𝗢𝗡𝗚 𝗦𝗔 𝗣𝗨𝗟𝗢𝗡𝗚𝗔𝗡 𝗦𝗔 𝗣𝗨𝗟𝗢𝗡𝗚 𝗦𝗔 𝗘𝗨𝗞𝗔𝗥𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗬𝗔

In preparation for the celebration of the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ (Corpus et Sanguis Christi), the members of the Basic Ecclesial Community of Our Mother of Perpetual Help of Gadan gathered for a meaningful KrisKa Session at the residence of Mrs. Rowena Ramirez-Cela, GKK Secretary, Lay Lector, and Family and Life Ministry Volunteer.

The session was attended by members of the Catholic Youth Ministry (CYM) and Lay Cooperators, who actively participated in the sharing and reflection. The gathering was presided over by Mr. Kevin N. Mariñas, Lay Liturgical Minister and KrisKa Alagad of the community.

The reflection centered on the Holy Gospel according to John 6:51-58, the Gospel reading for the forthcoming Solemnity of Corpus Christi. Through prayerful dialogue and faith-sharing, the participants deepened their understanding of Christ as the Bread of Life and the profound gift of His Body and Blood in the Holy Eucharist.

May these moments of reflection strengthen our faith, deepen our love for the Eucharist, and inspire us to become living witnesses of Christ's presence in our homes, community, and daily lives.

𝗣𝗔𝗚𝗟𝗔𝗨𝗠 𝗦𝗔 𝗚𝗨𝗚𝗠𝗔: 𝗨𝗦𝗔 𝗞𝗔𝗣𝗔𝗡𝗔𝗚𝗜𝗣𝗔𝗡 𝗦𝗔 𝗡𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗡𝗔 𝗠𝗔𝗦𝗦

On June 5, 2026, the Basic Ecclesial Community of Our Mother of Perpetual Help of Gadan, together with GKK Kiblis, GKK Nuling, GKK Cudiang, and GKK San Vicente (Poblacion), joyfully served as Mass Sponsors for the Second Day of the Novena Mass at St. Anthony de Padua Parish Church.

The Eucharistic Celebration likewise commemorated the Friday of the 9th Week in Ordinary Time and the Feast of St. Boniface, Bishop and Martyr. Guided by the theme, “Paglaum sa Gugma: Pagbarug uban sa Kabus ug Nanginahanglan,” the faithful were reminded to become living witnesses of Christ's love through service, compassion, and solidarity with those in need.

Members of the GKK Gadan Catholic Youth Ministry actively participated in the celebration as part of the Deus Caritas Est Chorus, enriching the liturgy through sacred music. Other youth members faithfully served as Lay Lectors, proclaiming the Word of God, while the GKK Vice President also took part in the celebration together with the community.

The Holy Mass was presided over by Rev. Fr. Ted Vincent G. Emboltorio and concelebrated by the Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Joel S. Sunga.

As we continue our Novena journey, may we remain steadfast in faith, united in hope, and inspired by love to serve our brothers and sisters, especially the poor and the needy.

A Joyful Procession of Faith and Devotion

After the solemn Culmination Program of Flores de Mayo 2026, the Basic Ecclesial Community of Our Mother of Perpetual Help of Gadan joyfully proceeded with a faith-filled procession around the ecclesiastical jurisdiction of GKK Gadan.

Led by the GKK officials and various ministries, the procession became a beautiful expression of devotion and unity. The crowned Queens and Kings, together with the angels and members of the community, gracefully joined the walk of faith, offering prayers and thanksgiving through the streets.

It was a living testimony of Marian devotion, community spirit, and gratitude for a month-long celebration of prayer and service in honor of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
