I was walking down life's highway along time ago
One day, I saw a sign that read,
"Heaven's Grocery Store"
As i get little closer, came wide and open
When i came to myself, I was standing inside.
I saw a host of angels,
they were standing everywhere
One handed me a basket and said
"My child shop with care"
Everything a Christian was in the grocery store
And all you could'nt carry,
You could come back the next day.
First i got some Patience, Love was in the row
Further down was Understanding,
You need that wherever you go
I got a box of Wisdom, a bag or two of Faith
I could'nt miss the Holy Ghost for it was all over the place.
I stopped to get some Strenght & Courage to help me run the race
But then my basket is getting full
But i remember i needed some Grace
I did'nt forget Salvation for salvation was free
I tried to get enough to save both you and me.
Then i started to get up the counter
To pay my grocery bill
For i thought i have everything to pay as my Master's will
As i went up the aisle, i saw some Prayer
And i have to put that for i know when i step outside, i could run into sin.
Peace and Joy were plentiful
They are in the last shelves
Songs and Praises were hanging near so i help myself
Then i said to the angel now,
"How do i owe",
Then He just smiled and said,
"Just take then wherever you go".
Again, i smiled to Him and said,
"How much do i really owe?".
The angel smiled again and said,
"My child, Jesus paid your bill along time ago"!!!
