𝐅𝐀𝐈𝐓𝐇 𝐈𝐍 𝐅𝐔𝐋𝐋 𝐁𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐌 | The fourth day of Flores de Mayo continued with heartfelt devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary. With flowers in hand, children gathered to offer their prayers and floral tributes as a sign of love and reverence for Mary, the Mother of God.

𝙈𝙖𝙮 13 | Feast day of 𝙊𝙐𝙍 𝙇𝘼𝘿𝙔 𝙊𝙁 𝙁𝘼𝙏𝙄𝙈𝘼

May 13th, 1917, the Blessed Virgin Mary appeared to 3 Portuguese children in the small town of Fatima. She appeared six times and identified Herself as "Our Lady of the Rosary", asking that they pray the rosary daily for the conversion of sinners. Mary also spoke of observing first Saturdays, devotion to her Immaculate Heart and the conversion of Russia. During the final apparition, the dance of the sun took place in front of 70,000 people.

Let us pray:

“O God, who chose the Mother of your Son to be our Mother also, grant us that, persevering in penance and prayer for the salvation of the world we may further more effectively each day the reign of Christ. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.”

Our Lady of Fatima, pray for us.

Ang termino nga "Flores de Mayo" gikan sa Katsila nga pulong nga "Mga Bulak sa Mayo". Kini nga bulan gisaulog alang kang Maria, ug usa ka kasaulogan nga gi-obserbar sa Pilipinas sa bulan sa Mayo, diin ang mga deboto nagahalad ug mga bulak, mga pag-ampo sa Mahal nga Inahan.

During this month, let us come to Mary and ask her to always intervene for us, to guide us, to feel her motherly love for us, and, above all, to lead us closer to her son, Jesus Christ. Let us be instruments of God's plan for His children.

Dali na, duawon ug maghalad kita ug bulak ngadto sa atong Langitnon nga Inahan isip tanda sa atong gugma kaniya.

Most lovable Mother Mary, our Father in Heaven created you with delight. You are His creature whom He made worthy to become the holy Mother of His Son. You were born into a family of Saints. Pray for me today that my joy in your Son will increase and that my family may become more holy.

Dearest Mother, please pray for me and for these my intentions…

On this day, the Ministry of Altar Servers of St Francis Xavier Parish celebrates the Feast of their Patron Saint, Saint Tarcisius of Rome, the acolyte.

In accordance with the Roman Martyrology of the Church:

“At Rome, on the Appian way, St. Tarcisius, acolyte – The Pagans accosted him as he was carrying the sacrament of Christ's body, and began to inquire what it was. But he judged it an unworthy thing to cast pearls before swine. They therefore beat him with sticks and stones until he expired. The sacrilegious searchers examined his body, but found no vestige of the sacrament of Christ, either in his hands or in his clothes. The Christians took up the body of the martyr, and buried it reverently in the cemetery of Callistus.”

be good and diligent Altar Server so that we may be worthy to be called as a servants of Christ, teach us our dear Saint Tarcirius to poured out our love in the Altar, and to be a role model to younger people and future servers of Christ, help us to be like you to sacrifice, to give time, and to die and to put Jesus in our Hearts, Amen.
