JUST IN: CATARAWAN BIBLE Church Celebrates Annual Harvest Festival with Theme “Blessed Family”
The atmosphere was filled with joy, gratitude, and unity as CBC hosted its annual Harvest Festival on August 31, 2025, under the heartfelt theme, “Blessed Family.”
The event, which drew members from both the church and surrounding community, was a vibrant celebration of thanksgiving and togetherness. The church grounds were adorned with colorful decorations, fresh produce, and banners reflecting the year’s theme, emphasizing the importance of family as a divine blessing.
A highlight of the festival was the family thanksgiving procession, where families walked together to the altar to present their harvest offerings and give thanks for God’s provision throughout the year. Followed by opening prayer led by Pastor Edz Apgo, Welcome talk by Bro. Jimmy Ananayo, Worship was followed by poems from the kids ministry, short drama from youths, dance from women and song from men and visitors. Testimony from member highlighted stories of restoration and thanking God for protecting her family
Service led by Pastor Villamor Pacyod, who delivered an inspiring sermon on the value of family, how husbands must value their wife, like a gem.
The festival concluded with a feast, featuring a variety of local dishes contributed by church members—a true reflection of the spirit of sharing and gratitude.
The Harvest Festival continues to be a cherished at Catarawan Bible Church, serving not only as a time of thanksgiving but also as a reminder of the church’s mission to nurture faith-filled, loving families.
