With deep sorrow, yet with the hope we have in Christ, the Jesus Is Alive Community Aklan mourns the passing of our dear brother, Gerald Carel Roldan (August 24, 1989 - August 30, 2026).
Gerald was the beloved eldest son of Mr. Geraldine and Mrs. Marie Joy Roldan, whose family has faithfully served the Lord and our church community through the years.
As a young man, Gerald was actively involved in our Youth Ministry and also served through the Music Ministry. His presence, passion, and willingness to serve became part of the story of our church family.
Beyond the church, Gerald was known for his advocacy for road safety, his dedication as a vlogger and social media personality (as Petix Akean), and the many people he reached through his platform and influence.
Today, we remember Gerald with gratitudeโfor his life, his service, his passions, and the memories he shared with those around him.
To the Roldan family, we mourn with you, pray with you, and stand with you during this difficult time. May the comfort and peace of our Lord Jesus Christ strengthen your hearts.
