As we welcome our new bishop, His Excellency, Most Rev. Cyril B. Villareal, D.D., let us also express our heartfelt gratitude to our dear Apostolic Administrator, His Grace, Victor B. Bendico.

On June 16, 2025, Pope Leo XIV appointed Archbishop Bendico of Archdiocese of Capiz as the Apostolic Administrator of the sede vacante Diocese of Kalibo. His appointment took effect on the same day, following the acceptance of the resignation of Jose Corazon T. Tala-oc as bishop of the diocese.

With fatherly care and pastoral dedication, Archbishop Bendico faithfully guided the Diocese of Kalibo during this period of transition. Through his leadership, he ensured continuity in the mission of the Church, strengthened the faith of the clergy and the faithful, and prepared the diocese for the coming of its new shepherd.

As he now returns to his responsibilities in Capiz, we thank him for his generosity, wisdom, and loving service. May the Lord reward him abundantly, and may he continue to be a blessing to the Church he so faithfully serves.

Faith gives us confidence and hope even when we cannot see what lies ahead. Trusting in God, especially during difficult times like exams, helps us stay strong and believe that He is working in our lives. Even when we do not feel His presence, He is always there, and in the end, faith brings positive outcomes.

As you said "Salig sa Ginoo, ag sabayi nyu it kahugod" reflects our ministry’s values and faith, inspiring everyone to pursue excellence with perseverance and trust in God.

A meaningful experience of sacrifice, unity, and spiritual growth in this sacred season.
