Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.โ โ Matthew 5:16 โจ
Flores de Mayo and the traditional Sagala are beautiful testaments to our deep devotion, a colorful offering of faith and love to our Blessed Mother Mary ๐ฉต
As we officially close this year's Flores de Mayo with our closing program and the giving of certificates, our hearts overflow with immense gratitude. This beautiful journey would not have been possible without the overflowing love, hands, and hearts that came together.
Our deepest and most heartfelt thank you to:
Our Generous Sponsors, thank you for your open hands and boundless generosity. We are deeply grateful for your monetary assistance and the school supplies you provided for the children. They may seem humble to some, but to us and the kids, they are immense blessings that will greatly help them as they prepare for the upcoming school year. Your support truly made a difference!
Our Daily Snack Donors, thank you to everyone who took turns day after day to provide snacks and refreshments for our participants. Your dedication ensured that our young sagalas and children were well-fed, energized, and happy throughout the entire month.
Our Dedicated Guides and Catechists, thank you for your patience, wisdom, and love. You did not just teach; you nurtured the seeds of faith in the hearts of the youth, guiding them closer to God and Mama Mary with every lesson shared.
Our Hardworking Volunteers, thank you for working tirelessly behind the scenes. From the preparations to the clean-up, your selfless sacrifice of time, energy, and sweat did not go unnoticed. You are the silent pillars of this community.
Our Supportive Parents, thank you for your unwavering commitment. From preparing the beautiful clothes of your children to walking beside them, your presence has been the greatest source of encouragement.
Our Lovely Sagala Participants, thank you for bringing grace, beauty, and pure devotion to this sacred tradition. Seeing your bright smiles and reverence as you offered flowers has brought so much joy to our parish and community.
Above all, to the Almighty Lord and our Blessed Mother Mary, for the endless blessings, guidance, protection, and the gift of community that kept us united from start to finish.
As this season ends, may we continue to bloom in faith, walk gracefully in God's love, and carry the virtues of Mama Mary in our everyday lives. ๐น๐
Hail Mary, full of grace. The Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen. ๐ค
Mama Mary, bless us.
