Double the blessings for our floresta today! 😍

We are so incredibly thankful this afternoon because we didn't just have one, but TWO generous sponsors who showered our kids with so much food!

A massive thank you to 𝗠𝘀. 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝗔𝗻𝗻 𝗣𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗮 for treating the kids to an amazing feast—they absolutely loved the cake, p**o, kutsinta, sopas, pandesal, and softdrinks! And another huge thank you to the 𝗔𝗿𝗿𝗼 𝗙𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆 for also sponsoring delicious bread and softdrinks for everyone!

𝐌𝐀𝐘 𝟏𝟔 | 𝐅𝐋𝐎𝐑𝐄𝐒 𝐃𝐄 𝐌𝐀𝐘𝐎 🌸🌧️

Even a heavy rain couldn't stop our Flores de Mayo and our amazing kids today! Despite the downpour, they still showed up to the chapel with so much energy to offer their prayers and flowers to Mama Mary.

And the best part? They are going home with very full tummies! 🍝🍗🧃

Huge thanks to the 𝗦𝗼𝗹𝘁𝗶𝘀 𝗙𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆 for sponsoring our snacks this afternoon! The floresta really enjoyed the spaghetti, fried chicken, and juice right after our rosary. May God bless your family for always sharing your blessings with us! 🙏✨

Today, we honor San Isidro Labrador, the patron saint of farmers and the beloved patron of the Molave Area (Dacongcogon Zone), Tagoc Zone, and the Inapoy Chaplaincy! A joyful feast day to everyone.

Take a closer look at our pubmat today—that beautiful stained glass image of San Isidro is actually from our very own Dacongcogon Church! It completes the beautiful sequence of our church windows from left to right: St. Michael the Archangel, the Holy Family, St. Joseph the Worker, and San Isidro.

🚨𝐃𝐈𝐎𝐂𝐄𝐒𝐀𝐍 𝐍𝐄𝐖𝐒 𝐔𝐏𝐃𝐀𝐓𝐄 🚨

Earlier today, Pope Leo XIV officially appointed our very own Bishop Louie Galbines as the new shepherd of the Diocese of Bacolod!

According to the announcement from CBCP News, Bishop Louie will be succeeding Bishop Patricio Buzon, who recently retired after serving Bacolod for nearly a decade. This appointment brings the bishop back to his home diocese, where he was originally born and ordained as a priest.

While our community here in the Diocese of Kabankalan will deeply miss his guidance, presence, and leadership, we are incredibly happy and proud of him. Thank you for being a wonderful shepherd to us, Bishop Louie!

As we bid a joyful farewell to Bishop Louie Galbines, our local church now awaits its next shepherd. Let us join together in prayer, asking the Holy Spirit to guide Pope Leo XIV in soon assigning a new and dedicated Bishop for the Diocese of Kabankalan. 🙏✨

Today, our youth ministry distributed these handmade ribbon flowers and greeting cards to the mothers in our community. Bisan simple lang nga effort halin sa amon mga pamatan-on, ginhimo ni namon with so much love and gratitude para sa inyo.

While we weren't able to give a handmade flower to every single mom today, we made sure that all mothers received a special Mother's Day card to remind you of how deeply you are loved and appreciated by us.

𝐇𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐲 𝐌𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫’𝐬 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐇𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲! 🌸

Today, the St. Joseph the Worker Dacongcogon Youth Ministry takes a moment to pause and celebrate the most incredible women in our lives: our mothers.

In the book of Isaiah 66:13, the Lord says, "As a mother comforts her child, so will I comfort you." There is truly no love on earth that mirrors the unconditional, forgiving, and comforting love of God quite like the love of a mother.

To all the moms in our Dacongcogon community—thank you. Thank you for the endless patience you show us as we grow up and find our way. Thank you for the warm meals at home, the late nights waiting for us, the quiet sacrifices you make that we often don't even see, and most importantly, the unceasing prayers you lift up to heaven for our safety, our studies, and our future. You are our first teachers, our biggest cheerleaders, and our strongest foundations in faith.

We also want to give a huge, special shoutout to the amazing moms and spiritual mothers of our zone who are always behind the scenes supporting our youth ministry. Thank you to the nanays who tirelessly help us during our activities! Whether you are waking up early to cook large pots of bihon and sopas for our outreach programs, or making sure our youth always have enough food to eat during our events, your labor of love means the world to us. Your acts of service are truly the heartbeat of our community.

As we celebrate this special day within the Month of Mary, we ask the Blessed Virgin Mother to wrap all of you in her mantle of protection. May the Lord bless you with abundant joy, good health, and a heart full of peace today and every single day. You deserve all the love in the world!
