A sacred and meaningful moment unfolded at the Diocesan Shrine and Parish of Señor Santo Niño - Diocese of Kabankalan as children of God took a step deeper into their faith through the Investiture of the Knights of the Altar. Clothed with their vestments and entrusted with their duties, they are now called to serve the Lord with reverence, discipline, and humility. This beautiful celebration is not just a ceremony, but a commitment—a promise to grow in faith and to faithfully assist in the Holy Eucharist. May these new Knights of the Altar continue to be guided by Señor Santo Niño, becoming instruments of devotion and service in the Church.

“The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; His mercies never come to an end.” (Lam 3:22–23)

Starting April 13–17, 2026, the clergy of the Diocese of Kabankalan gather for their Annual Spiritual Re-Charging Retreat at Bukal ng Tipan (CCM) Retreat House in Talisay City.

This sacred time is dedicated to deep prayer, reflection, and discernment, seeking to become more effective witnesses of the Risen Lord in today’s world. In the midst of global challenges and uncertainties, we are called to remain rooted in faith and hope, trusting in God’s greater plan.

We humbly invite everyone to accompany our priests through your prayers and devotion, especially before the Blessed Sacrament, that their hearts may be renewed and strengthened for mission.

With the intercession of St. Francis Xavier, Patron of our Diocese, may we continue to move forward together in faith, believing that truly, WE CAN DO BETTER!

Before dawn breaks on Easter Sunday, the sacred Encuentro (Sugata) unfolds — a moment of hope, joy, and reunion.

The Risen Christ meets His Blessed Mother, and sorrow gives way to gladness. The veil of grief is lifted, and the Church rejoices: He is alive! Alleluia!

In this beautiful tradition, we witness the triumph of life over death, light over darkness, and love over despair. May this early morning encounter remind us that every pain has its Easter, and every cross leads to resurrection.

Rejoice, for the Lord has risen! Alleluia!

During the solemn celebration of the 𝙀𝙖𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙑𝙞𝙜𝙞𝙡, the faithful gathered to take part in the 𝙍𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙬𝙖𝙡 𝙤𝙛 𝘽𝙖𝙥𝙩𝙞𝙨𝙢𝙖𝙡 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙢𝙞𝙨𝙚𝙨, a meaningful moment that calls us to remember the grace of our own baptism. With lighted candles in hand, we renounced sin and professed our faith in God, renewing our commitment to live as children of the light. This sacred rite reminds us that through baptism, we share in Christ’s victory over sin and death, and are called to walk in the newness of life.

As the blessed water was sprinkled upon the assembly, it served as a sign of spiritual renewal and cleansing. The community was invited to reaffirm their faith, strengthen their devotion, and embrace the mission of living the Gospel in everyday life. May this renewal of baptismal promises inspire us to remain faithful to Christ, grow in holiness, and joyfully proclaim the Resurrection through our words and actions. 𝘼𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙡𝙪𝙞𝙖!

On this holy night, the faithful gathered at the Diocesan Shrine and Parish of Señor Santo Niño - Diocese of Kabankalan to celebrate the solemn 𝗘𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗩𝗶𝗴𝗶𝗹 — the mother of all vigils, where we journey from darkness into the light of Christ’s Resurrection. In the quiet of the evening, the Church kept watch, listening to the Word of God and recalling the story of salvation, as we awaited the triumph of life over death.

The celebration began in darkness, symbolizing the world longing for the Light. As the Paschal Candle was lit and carried into the church, the light slowly spread among the faithful, reminding us that Christ, our Risen Lord, dispels all darkness and fills our hearts with hope. Through prayer, reflection, and joyful anticipation, we were invited to renew our faith and embrace the new life won for us by the Resurrection.

May the grace of this Easter Vigil strengthen our community, deepen our love for God, and inspire us to live as witnesses of the Risen Christ. From darkness to light, from death to life — we rejoice in the victory of the Lord. 𝘼𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙡𝙪𝙞𝙖! 𝘼𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙡𝙪𝙞𝙖!
