Congratulations to Our First EQUIP21 Batch!

Today, we celebrate a milestone, the successful completion of our very first batch of trainees under the EQUIP21 program!

What began as a vision to equip, disciple, and prepare faithful servants has now become a living testimony of God’s grace. Each smile in these photos represents growth, perseverance, friendship, and a deeper commitment to the Lord’s work.

To our graduates: thank you for your dedication, humility, and teachable spirit. You have not simply completed a program; you have embraced a calling. May what you have learned continue to bear fruit in your churches, ministries, workplaces, and communities.

This is only the beginning. The mission continues. The harvest is plentiful.

Equip your preaching for a new season of clarity, conviction, and compassion.

Join us for EQUIP 21: Biblical Preaching / Homiletics, a focused training module at the John Rhoads Training Center for Evangelism and Discipleship, designed to help preachers handle God’s Word with theological depth and practical skill. This module will strengthen your grounding in Scripture, sharpen your exegesis and sermon structure, and help you preach Christ clearly and relevantly to today’s hearers.

Across these three days, you will:

Explore the biblical foundations of preaching and the role of the Holy Spirit in proclamation.

Grow in expository preaching, from text selection and exegesis to illustration and application.

Develop sermons that remain faithful to the text while speaking directly to the needs of your congregation.

Lecturer: Rev. Dr. Desmond Soh, Senior Pastor of Bethany Evangelical Free Church (Singapore) and former Associate Professor of Homiletics and Intercultural Studies at Singapore Bible College, will be guiding this module and mentoring participants through both teaching and practical exercises.

📅 Dates: February 24–26, 2026
📍 Venue: FBCKI Multipurpose Hall

If you long to preach so that God’s voice is heard clearly in every exposition, this module is for you. Tag a friend in ministry, share this post, and make plans to join us.
