Join us for EQUIP 21: Biblical Preaching / Homiletics, a focused training module at the John Rhoads Training Center for Evangelism and Discipleship, designed to help preachers handle God’s Word with theological depth and practical skill. This module will strengthen your grounding in Scripture, sharpen your exegesis and sermon structure, and help you preach Christ clearly and relevantly to today’s hearers.
Across these three days, you will:
Explore the biblical foundations of preaching and the role of the Holy Spirit in proclamation.
Grow in expository preaching, from text selection and exegesis to illustration and application.
Develop sermons that remain faithful to the text while speaking directly to the needs of your congregation.
Lecturer: Rev. Dr. Desmond Soh, Senior Pastor of Bethany Evangelical Free Church (Singapore) and former Associate Professor of Homiletics and Intercultural Studies at Singapore Bible College, will be guiding this module and mentoring participants through both teaching and practical exercises.
