You are either EARLY… or you are LATE.
That may sound extreme to Christians, but life has a way of proving it true.
Because when the storm finally hits your shore… when the phone call comes… when fear explodes into your life… when the pressure becomes unbearable… that is NOT the moment to start building your faith.
And that was one of the hardest lessons I learned early in my walk with Christ. Back then, I believed in what I now call “snap-your-fingers faith.” I thought: “I go to church. I pray. I have a spiritual rhythm. I’m good. I’m ready.”
WRONG.
Because it is easy to THINK we are spiritually prepared… until life exposes how unprepared we actually are.
Many believers are shocked when anxiety overwhelms them. When fear controls them. When temptation beats them down. When crisis shakes them harder than expected. Why? Because spiritual strength is not built in the battle. It is revealed there.
Noah did not build the ark when it started raining. He built it BEFORE the storm came.
That is what real spiritual readiness looks like. Being ready for life’s challenges does not come from acting spiritual.
It does not come from trying harder. And it does not come from being a “good person.”
It comes from a deeply connected relationship with God that is strengthened DAILY before the crisis ever arrives.
“You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.” Isaiah 26:3
Steadfast without panic or trying to summon emergency faith at the last second.
WHAT ABOUT YOU?
If the battle arrived tonight… how ready would your faith be?
Because there’s no such thing as ON TIME. Only EARLY… or late.
“Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.” Ephesians 6:10
