You can’t wait until you feel like worshipping, you have to worship even when you don’t feel like it. Worship is what transforms your heart. It gives God the praise He is so worthy of.

I think of Paul and Silas often, singing in the jail, and how they may not have felt like worshipping and praising God, but did so anyway.

May our lives be the same, may we be a living testimony of the goodness of God. 🤍

I love that in Acts 18, the Lord comes to Paul in a vision and says:

“Do not be afraid; keep on speaking, do not be silent. For I am with you…” Acts 18:9-10 📖

Which makes me wonder…was Paul afraid?

He had already faced opposition and rejection, and more resistance was coming. Yet God didn’t tell him that everyone would suddenly like him or that following Him would become comfortable.

God didn’t tell Paul to change the message to make it easier for people to receive.

He told him not to be afraid and not to stop speaking!

That’ll preach today.

Someone calls you a name? So what.

You don’t get the promotion? So what.

Someone rejects you because of your faith? So what.

Following Jesus costs you popularity? So what.

We cannot allow every insult to redefine us or every rejection to redirect us…

And we absolutely cannot compromise what we believe simply because standing on God’s Word becomes uncomfortable!

There are times to listen.
Times to examine ourselves.
Times to receive correction.

👉 But there are also times to know what God has said, plant your feet, and refuse to move.💯

Don’t be afraid.
Don’t compromise.
Don’t be silent when God has called you to speak.

Stand firm.
Keep speaking.
He is with you. 🙏🤎✝️
