God can bring life to what has grown dry. Like the dry bones in Ezekiel 37, we were reminded to seek the Lord for a renewed heart and to let His Spirit breathe life into us again.

Romans 12:1โ€“2 called us to offer our whole lives to God, turn away from the pattern of sin, and allow Him to renew our minds.

We were reminded that Christ is our Healer. In sickness, we can pray, trust Him, and bring our needs before God (James 5:14โ€“16).

When Jesus commanded his disciples to watch and pray, it doesn't give us extra ordinary strength and ability automatically, but it gave us the privileged to trust God in our weaknesses, and a desire to cooperate to His invisible work to become visible by overcoming temptation.
