Pentecost Sunday marks the birth of the One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church.
On this sacred day, the Holy Spirit descended upon the Apostles and the Blessed Virgin Mary, filling them with courage to proclaim the Gospel to all nations. What began in the Upper Room became the living Church of Christโunited in faith, sanctified by grace, universal in mission, and founded upon the Apostles.
The Church was not created by human effort, but born through the power of the Holy Spirit. As members of the One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church, we are called to continue the mission of Christ with faith, love, and boldness.
Come, Holy Spirit, renew the hearts of Your faithful and kindle in them the fire of Your love.
