Is our resistance to authority actually a resistance to God's sovereignty?

Honoring a leader is a test of how much we trust the Sovereign hand behind them. It takes a different level of spiritual grit to honor a position as it is an extension of God's authority and a practical exercise of our submission to His will.

However, our earthly duty must never override our fidelity to the Truth. Whether in the government, the church, or our homes, when man's mandates deviate from Divine Law, our highest allegiance belongs to God, for true obedience is also found in resting under the wisdom of His design.

While last Sunday concluded our H.A.L.O. series, it was actually a catalyst for the mission ahead. We are disciples, living a life truly oriented toward His purpose.

Let's carry this momentum. Be with us tomorrow as we celebrate the growth He has given and continue this journey by His grace. See you there! 🤗💖✨

Is He truly your Lord if your life proves otherwise?

It was a powerful reminder last Sunday as we took to heart the call of true discipleship.

Disobedience is our natural inclination, but once we receive Christ, a new nature is born within us, where obedience becomes our new desire. Jesus set the ultimate example through His perfect obedience even through suffering and death, to show us the way. When we choose to obey, we are allowing His very nature to be formed in us.

Obedience is the litmus test of being a true disciple of Christ. H.A.L.O Oriented Discipleship is Christlikeness in action; a holy person obeys, an accountable person obeys, and anyone who truly claims to love the Lord, obeys. In truth, loving God is obeying His commands!

Grateful that God aligns us in His will. Let's celebrate His grace in worship tomorrow. 🙌🏻

HE IS RISEN! 👑🙌🏻

What a joyful Resurrection! We gathered at the break of dawn to celebrate the life of Jesus that gives life. Everyone experienced the power of His victory through spirit-filled worship and a life-changing message: Resurrection Changes Everything.

It redeemed our Past, gave us Power for the Present to live a New Life, and made our Future certain. Because He is alive, we have the power of His Spirit to live a life of victory. We will stand fast in this truth, sharing the good news of our Risen Savior, the Author of our Salvation.

His victory is now our story to tell. All praise to the King, our Living Hope. ✨💖

How can we claim to know the Creator of the universe if our lives look nothing like His heart?

Last Sunday, we walked through the next pillar of our H.A.L.O series: Love.

We learned that everything in our walk with God has to start with His own heart, because He is the source of all true love. It is agape, a love that is sacrificial, committed, and selfless. Because this love flows from His very nature into us, it becomes natural for us to love others.

Being filled by Him, we are empowered to extend that same grace to everyone around us, just as Christ did. Finally, we realize that our love is the ultimate testimony that we are His true disciples. When we are truly compelled by His love, doing His will doesn't feel like a burden, it becomes a joy! ✨💖

Are you drilling holes under your own seat? We often mistake freedom for the right to do whatever we want, but true life is hollow without the weight of accountability.

We looked at the second pillar of our H.A.L.O series: Accountability. While the word makes some feel uneasy, in the Kingdom of God, it is actually a safety net. We learned that Biblical Accountability is a guardrail,that keeps us aligned to the clear standard of God's Word. 📖

Being a disciple, we are called to give an account of how we steward our holiness, our resources, and our relationships.

Our true transformation follows a divine order where "being" precedes "doing,"meaning we cannot harvest a godly life if we don't allow the root of our being be processed and corrected both by God Himself and through a community that sows reminders in love. Because when we are accountable to one another, we aren't just helping, we are fulfilling the law of Christ. 🙌🏻
