The Search for Maligue Sinulog Queen 2027 is a fundraising-based pageant dedicated to supporting the Sto. Niño Chapel.

👑 Criteria for Winning:

The candidate who raises the highest amount of show money will be officially crowned Maligue Sinulog Queen 2027.

🏆 Special Awards will also be presented based on the following criteria:

🏅Best in Production Costume – 20%
🏅Best in Festival Attire – 20%
🏅Best in Talent – 20%
🏅Best Face – 20%
🏅People's Choice Award – 10%

This mystery teaches us that we are created not to live only for ourselves but to be united with others in love, service, and faith. As we celebrate the culmination of Flores de Mayo, we honor the Blessed Virgin Mary, who perfectly responded to God's love with humility and obedience.

The offering of flowers throughout the month symbolizes our prayers, sacrifices, and gratitude to God. Like Mary, may we open our hearts to God's will and allow His love to guide our daily lives. As we reflect on the Holy Trinity and the example of Mary, may we become instruments of peace, unity, and love in our families and communities.

May 24, 2026 | Pentecost Sunday | Culmination of Flores De Mayo

On Pentecost Sunday, we are reminded that God’s Spirit continues to move in our lives today. Just as the disciples were filled with courage and unity, we are also called to live with faith, love, and compassion. Pentecost teaches me that even in moments of fear or uncertainty, the Holy Spirit gives strength, wisdom, and hope. It is a beautiful reminder that we are never alone, because God continues to guide and inspire us every day.

In the same way, the offering of flowers to Mama Mary during Flores de Mayo reflects our gratitude, purity of heart, and deep trust in God’s guidance.

This celebration teaches us that, like flowers blooming in May, our faith should continue to grow and inspire kindness, humility, and service in our community. Through the Holy Spirit and the loving example of Mary, may we become instruments of peace and hope to others every day.
