Gracious and loving God, we thank you for the gift of our priests.
Through them, we experience your presence in the sacraments.
Help our priests to be strong in their vocation.
Set their souls on fire with love for your people.
Grant them the wisdom, understanding, and strength they need to follow in the footsteps of Jesus.
Inspire them with the vision of your Kingdom.
Give them the words they need to spread the Gospel.
Allow them to experience joy in their ministry.
Help them to become instruments of your divine grace.
We ask this through Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns as our Eternal Priest.
Amen.
โA priest is a bridge between God and His people.โ

Today, on the Feast of St. John Mary Vianney, patron saint of parish priests, we honor and give thanks for the men who have dedicated their lives to God and His Church through the Sacrament of Holy Orders. As St. John Vianney beautifully said, โThe priesthood is the love of the Heart of Jesus.โ
We are deeply grateful for our priests of Sta. Isabel de Portugal, who faithfully shepherd our parish through the celebration of the Holy Eucharist, the sacraments, and their quiet witness of service, compassion, and love. In every Holy Mass they celebrate, they act in persona Christiโrepresenting Christ Himself as they proclaim His Word and offer the Holy Eucharist, drawing His people closer to Him.
As we celebrate their vocation, let us keep them in our prayers, asking the Lord to bless them with strength, humility, wisdom, and joyful perseverance in their ministry.
May Christ, the Eternal High Priest, continue to guide, strengthen, and bless you as you faithfully lead His flock.
Happy Priests' Day, Reverend Fathers!
