We are pleased to announce the initial opening of Family of Yahweh in Yahshua the Messiah โ€“ Isabel Edah, located in Libertad, Isabel, Leyte.

By the grace and guidance of Abba Yahweh, this assembly is being established as a place of worship, fellowship, and teaching in preparation for His appointed time of Passover.

All glory and honor belong to Abba Yahweh through Yahshua the Messiah. More details will be shared soon.

Biblical โ€œwineโ€ often referred to the fruit of the vineโ€”frequently fresh or lightly fermented grape juiceโ€”while modern alcoholic beverages are intentionally brewed and distilled for intoxication, making them fundamentally different in purpose and effect.

Q: Is biblical wine the same as todayโ€™s alcoholic drinks?

A: No. In the Holy Scriptures, the Hebrew "yayin" and Greek "oinos" were broad terms that could mean fresh grape juice or mildly fermented wine, usually far weaker than todayโ€™s alcohol. Modern beers and liquors are chemically processed to increase alcohol content, which the Bible consistently warns against when it leads to drunkenness.
