His steadfast devotion to the Lord and tireless service to the faithful are living testimonies of Christ’s love and mercy. Through his guidance, many have found strength in prayer, hope in trials, and joy in the sacraments. We honor his years of dedication, marked by humility, compassion, and unwavering faith.

🚨 WATCH OUT! Youth Encounter Batch 48 Successfully Completed on Good Shepherd Sunday! 🙌

21 young people from the Parish of St. Anthony of Padua with 1 from the neighboring Santo Domingo parish have just completed the Youth Encounter — considered a powerful gateway to active parish youth ministries.

This is the second YE this year and the 48th batch in our parish since 1995!
In line with the Archdiocesan thrust “Gabos Kaayon, Gabos May Gibohon,” the Parish is strengthening the Youth Encounter as an entry point for young people to serve and become active in various ministries.
Fr. Wilmer Tria, our Parish Priest, emphasized his vision of wider youth participation — not just in the parish but across the Vicariate — to build a more vibrant and dynamic youth ministry. Regular Youth Encounters will now be part of the parish calendar to ensure continuity and greater involvement.

Fr. Eric Bobis, Spiritual Director, also assured full support for the ongoing spiritual formation of our young people.
The module was facilitated by dedicated former members of the Parish Youth Ministry from Iriga parishes. Thank you for your generous service! 💙

TODAY | Vicariate of St Anthony of Padua conducts orientation seminar on the creation of Finance Council in its parishes.

The Finance Council is part of the mandated office of a parish to serve as steward of temporal goods of the Church in the parishes. This implies participatory management of finances and properties of the Church, engaging both of the clerics and the lay faithful.

WELCOME HOME, SAN PEDRO BAUTISTA!

We invite all the faithful to join us at the Parish of St. Anthony of Padua as we welcome the pilgrim relic of San Pedro Bautista from April 17 to 20, 2026.

This is a rare opportunity to honor the fearless missionary and "Moving Spirit" who laid the foundations of the early Bicolano Church.

Why San Pedro Bautista Matters to Bicol and Rinconada:
Long before his martyrdom in Japan, San Pedro Bautista walked our lands and left a permanent footprint on our faith. As the Superior of the Franciscans in the late 1500s, his contributions were transformative:

🌱 Founder of Towns: He was the visionary behind the foundation of several Bicolano towns, including Baao, Buhi, and Quipayo. At that time, Iriga was a Visita, a chapel whom he may have frequently visited.

⛪ Builder of Stone Churches: He pioneered the construction of the first stone churches in the region, ensuring that the faith had a lasting home.

✝️ First Bishop-Elect of Caceres: In 1595, he was appointed the First Bishop of the Diocese of Nueva Caceres. Though martyred before he could be installed, he remains a vital patron of the Metropolitan Archdiocese of Caceres.

🎼 A Man of the People: He lived simply, defended the rights of the natives, and even taught the first parish choirs, enriching our culture and liturgy.

Come and venerate the relic of the saint who once labored for our ancestors. Let us draw inspiration from his life of prayer, mission, and courage!
