In today's Gospel (John 6:51-58), Jesus proclaims:

"I am the living bread that came down from heaven; whoever eats this bread will live forever; and the bread that I will give is my flesh for the life of the world."

May this Eucharistic celebration deepen our love for Christ truly present in the Blessed Sacrament and strengthen us to become His living presence in the world.

The Pilgrim Image of Our Lady of Guadalupe from Mexico will begin her nationwide journey on June 13, with an opening Mass at the Manila Cathedral presided by Cardinal Jose Advincula. From there, she visits more than 50 cathedrals, shrines, and parishes across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao until December 2026.

Let us welcome, greet, and devote ourselves to the Pilgrim Image of our Lady of Guadalupe, here in the St. Joseph the Worker Cathedral Parish on June 27-29, 2026.
