THE SEARCH IS OVER! The 3rd Chancellor of Mindanao State University Buug has been elected!

Congratulations to Dr. Sheila G. Magolama for being elected as the new Chancellor of MSU Buug during the Special BOR Meeting held at CHED Main Office, Diliman, Quezon City on November 26, 2024.

After months of careful processes from application to evaluation, the Board of Regents has finally convened and voted who will be the next chancellor of MSU Buug. Undergoing a thorough discussion and assessment, the majority have favored Dr. Magolama.

Dr. Magolama was the Acting Chancellor of the campus before her election, and also a former Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs of the same campus. She has championed the spirit of excellence since being the VCAA until becoming the Acting Chancellor which is clearly shown in her unwavering effort with the successful Certificate of Program Compliance of all the programs. She has led multiple initiatives and projects, and has been steadfast in infrastructure development. She is also a transformative leader that has moved the lives of the employees and students into a brighter and more comfortable and conducive learning and working environment. A leader who acts and listens. A leader of choice who chooses those who have chosen her. A follower of her followers. An empowered and empowering leader. She is Sheila.

She Leads. She Builds. She Innovates.
