We are optimistic to stand with firmness to what has been agreed upon by the scholars, elders, and leaders of Basilan, Sulu, Tawi-Tawi, Zamboanga Sibugay, Zamboanga del Norte, Zamboanga City, and Palawan.

We carry this upholding the integrity of what has been thoughtfully deliberated by the Muftis for the welfare of the Ummah – recognizing the weight of our history, understanding the realities of our present times, and aspiring towards a progressive future for the sake of Allah, in the framework laid out to us by the Qur’an and Sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ through the lens of our pious predecessors.

THIS EVENT WAS ATTENDED BY DIFFERENT SECTORS FROM ULAMA' (ISLAMIC SCHOLARS) GRADUATED FROM FOREIGN COUNTRIES, USTAZES (ASATIZ), LEADERS, COMMUNITY OFICIALS, ELDERS, AND PROFESSIONALS. MAY ALLAH BLESS US ALL.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗨𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗮 𝗼𝗳 𝗭𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗼𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮 𝗦𝗶𝗯𝘂𝗴𝗮𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗭𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗼𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮 𝗱𝗲𝗹 𝗡𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗲, during their Joint Ulama Summit 2025 held on October 19, 2025, have reached a momentous and unanimous decision, attended by the esteemed Ulama, and the Madrasa and Masjid Administrators and Faculty of the said provinces.

Through mutual consultation and consensus, the following designations have been formally declared:

𝗦𝗵𝗮𝘆𝗸𝗵 𝗗𝗿. 𝗗𝗮𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗺 𝗧𝗮𝗽𝘀𝗶 as the 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐌𝐮𝐟𝐭𝐢 𝐨𝐟 𝐙𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐨𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚 𝐒𝐢𝐛𝐮𝐠𝐚𝐲

and

𝗦𝗵𝗮𝘆𝗸𝗵 𝗠𝗼𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗱 𝗝𝗮𝘆𝗻 𝗛𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗻 as the 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐌𝐮𝐟𝐭𝐢 𝐨𝐟 𝐙𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐨𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚 𝐝𝐞𝐥 𝐍𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐞.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗨𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗮 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝗭𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗼𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮 𝗣𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗹𝗮 (𝗨𝗖𝗭𝗣) warmly welcomes and fully supports this collective decision made by the respective Ulama during the said summit, recognizing it as a significant step forward in strengthening Dahwa, cooperation, and unity within the region.

The 𝗨𝗖𝗭𝗣 extends its heartfelt congratulations and warm greetings to the newly designated Muftis. May Allah grant them steadfastness, wisdom, and sincerity as they carry out this noble trust. May Allah guide them in their duties, bless their efforts, and make their leadership a means of strengthening the faith, harmony and moral foundation of our community.
