During his homily at the Annual Meeting of Catechetical Directors and Coordinators (AMDC) 2026, Most Rev. Renato P. Mayugba, D.D., Bishop of Laoag, expressed his heartfelt gratitude to all priests, religious, and catechists for their faithful ministry of bringing people closer to the Lord.

His words remind us that through catechesis and faithful service, we participate in the mission of making Jesus, the Good Shepherd, known and loved, bringing others closer to His love and mercy.

Happy 1st Anniversary of Episcopal Installation!

Today, the faithful of the Diocese of Ipil joyfully celebrate the first anniversary of the episcopal installation of our beloved shepherd, Most Rev. Glenn M. Corsiga, D.D.

When the news first came that the Diocese of Ipil would finally have its own Bishop, the faithful rejoiced with grateful and hopeful hearts. It was a moment of great joy—a blessing that brought renewed hope, unity, and inspiration to the local Church.

Your Excellency, thank you for your faithful leadership, your shepherd’s heart, and your unwavering dedication to the Church and the people of Ipil. May the Lord continue to guide and strengthen you as you lead us in faith and service.
