The Stability of Life in the Word of God
Speaker: L.M. Lorraine Payot
Passage: Psalm 19

In a world full of uncertainty and chaos, where can we find true stability?

Psalm 19 reminds us that God reveals Himself both through creation and through His Word.

God’s Glory in Creation (vv. 1–6)
“The heavens declare the glory of God…”
All creation points to His power and faithfulness. When we anchor ourselves in God, we find stability. He becomes our steady foundation even when life feels uncertain.

God’s Truth to Live By (vv. 7–14)
“The law of the Lord is perfect, restoring the soul…”
God’s Word is sure, right, pure, and true. It restores, gives wisdom, brings joy, and enlightens our lives. When we build our lives on His Word, we remain steadfast and unshaken.

When we anchor our souls daily in Scripture, it guides us, strengthens us, corrects us, shapes us, and secures our steps.

God’s Word not only gives stability but also fills us with wisdom, joy, and endurance to face life’s uncertainties.

The Certainty of Our Deliverance
Speaker: Ptr. Matt Andre Badic
Passage: Psalm 21

“The human body is a constant distraction to the soul; death is the ultimate deliverance into pure truth and wisdom.” - Plato

While the world seeks answers in philosophy, Psalm 21 points us to a greater truth: our deliverance is certain in God.

1. God is our certain provider (Psalm 21:2–7)
These verses reveal the abundant blessings God gives to His people. He is not distant, but a loving Father who knows and provides for our needs. His provision goes beyond what we ask or imagine.

2. God will fight for us (Psalm 21:8–13)
God is not only our provider, but also our defender. He stands against our enemies and secures victory on our behalf. We do not fight alone. God Himself fights for us.

In every situation, we can trust in His deliverance.
May we walk in confidence, knowing that our God is our provider and our mighty defender.

In His hands, our deliverance is sure.

The Sufficiency of God in Times of Crisis
Speaker: Rev. Herculine Payot
Passage: Psalm 23

In times of crisis, Psalm 23 reminds us that God is more than enough.

“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want…”
God provides and restores. He leads us to places of peace and renews our soul. His sufficiency is not just about meeting needs, but about restoring our whole being.

Even in our darkest moments, His presence remains constant.
“Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death… I will fear no evil, for You are with me.”
God’s presence brings security, comfort, and courage in the midst of fear.

More than survival, God offers abundance.
“You prepare a table before me… my cup overflows.”
His goodness and mercy follow us, and His promises extend into eternity.

The sufficiency of God is seen in the lives of those who trust Him.
In every crisis, He is our provider, our protector, and our peace.

The Dependability of God In The Presence of Enemies
Passage: Psalm 17
Speaker: L.M. Jocelyn Caroro

In times of trouble, Psalm 17 reminds us that God remains dependable.

We can appeal to God in our struggles (Psalm 17:1–2).
We can be confident that He hears us (Psalm 17:3–5).
We can rest in His love and protection (Psalm 17:6–12).
We can fight our battles through prayer (Psalm 17:13–14).
And we can remain hopeful in His presence (Psalm 17:15).

No matter how difficult life becomes, our appropriate response is to trust our dependable God. He hears, protects, sustains, and remains faithful even in the presence of our enemies.

When fear surrounds us, and challenges seem greater than our strength, may we remember that our confidence is not found in ourselves, but in God alone. He never abandons His people, and His faithfulness remains constant through every battle we face.

Formed into a New Devoted Community
Passage: Acts 2:42–47

Acts 2:42–47 shows how the early believers were transformed into a devoted and united community through the power of the Holy Spirit.

The new believers continually devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, fellowship, breaking of bread, and prayer (vv. 42–43). They desired to grow in their faith and remain grounded in God’s truth. Because of this devotion, awe and wonder filled the community as God continued to move among them.

The believers were also united in helping those in need (vv. 44–45). They shared what they had and cared for one another with generosity and compassion. Their faith was not only seen in words, but also in action.

In verse 46, the Church gathered together daily with one heart and one purpose. Their unity reflected the transforming work of God in their lives. They worshiped together, shared meals together, and encouraged one another with sincere hearts.

This passage reminds us that sincere devotion, transformation, and unity come when we allow the Holy Spirit to empower our lives. A Spirit-filled community is marked by faith, love, generosity, and genuine fellowship.

Empowered by the Promised Spirit
Speaker: Ptr. Matt Andre Badic
Date: April 19, 2026
Scripture: Acts 1–2

Today, many things influence how we think and live, especially social media. It can shape our actions and even empower us to do things we would not normally do. But in Acts 1–2, we see a greater power, the Holy Spirit.

In Acts 1:1–8, Jesus gave His disciples a command and a promise. He told them not to leave Jerusalem and assured them that they would be baptized with the Holy Spirit. They were also commissioned to be His witnesses.

How did the Holy Spirit empower the disciples?

1. The Holy Spirit united them
In Acts 1:14, the disciples devoted themselves to prayer. They were in one mind and one heart, praying together, including the women. Unity was the foundation of their strength.

2. The Holy Spirit enabled understanding
In Acts 2, during Pentecost, the Holy Spirit came like tongues of fire. Though they spoke different languages, people understood one another. In Acts 2:14, Peter boldly preached, and from Acts 2:16–47, he proclaimed that Jesus is the Son of God revealed in Scripture.

3. The Holy Spirit transformed lives
About 3,000 people responded and were saved. When the Holy Spirit moves, He brings hope to the hopeless, courage to the fearful, and transformation to every life.

The same Spirit still empowers us today.
