Wrapping up our Week of Fire for the month of July! ๐Ÿ”ฅ
MCC leaders came with hearts hungry and thirsty for God's presence, His power, and His empowerment. We are grateful for the fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit, who continues to fill, strengthen, and ignite His people for His purpose.
Thank You, Holy Spirit, for meeting us, transforming us, and empowering us to be effective witnesses for Christ. May the fire You have kindled in our hearts continue to burn brightly as we advance Your Kingdom.

Israel was fighting Amalek in the valley.

Meanwhile, Moses stood on the hill with the staff of God in his hand.

As long as Moses held up his hands, Israel prevailed.
But whenever he lowered them, Amalek gained the advantage (Exodus 17:11).

Then the story quietly tells us something we can all relate to.

"๐— ๐—ผ๐˜€๐—ฒ๐˜€' ๐—ต๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ฑ๐˜€ ๐—ด๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐˜„ ๐˜„๐—ฒ๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐˜†." (Exodus 17:12)

Those five words are easy to overlook.
But they remind us that even God's most faithful servants grow tired.

The same Moses who stood before Pharaoh.
The same Moses who stretched out his staff over the Red Sea.
The same Moses who had witnessed God's mighty power.

Even he reached a point where he could no longer hold up his own hands.

God could have miraculously strengthened Moses.
He had done far greater miracles before.

But this time... He chose something much simpler.

Aaron and Hur.

They brought a stone for Moses to sit on.
Then they stood beside him, one on each side, and held up his hands until the sun went down.

Notice what they didn't do.

They didn't take Moses' place.
They didn't ask for the staff.
They didn't try to become Moses.
They simply helped him keep doing what God had called him to do.

Sometimes the greatest act of faith isn't standing in the spotlight.
It's quietly holding up someone else's weary hands.

We often pray for God to take away the weight we're carrying.
Sometimes He answers by sending someone to carry it with us.

A friend who refuses to leave.
A family member who simply sits beside us.
A church that prays when we no longer have the words.
A quiet act of kindness.
A timely message.
A listening ear.

God's provision doesn't always come by changing our circumstances.
Sometimes it comes through the people He places beside us.

The battle against Amalek was fought by Joshua in the valley.
Moses stood on the hill.
But Aaron and Hur made sure Moses didn't stand there alone.

The victory belonged to the Lord.

Yet God chose to accomplish it through people who were willing to support one another.

Maybe that's one of the most beautiful lessons in this story.

We all have days when our hands grow weary.
Days when the weight feels too heavy to carry alone.

If that is where you are today, may God surround you with an Aaron and a Hur.

People who will remind you that you don't have to fight every battle by yourself.

And when your own strength has returned, may God make you an Aaron or a Hur for someone else.

Because some of the greatest acts of faith are never seen from the valley.

They happen quietly on the hill, when someone chooses to hold up another person's weary hands until the battle is over.
