🚧 The Foundation Worth Building 🚧

Neither noon cancellations nor the unpredictable weather could stop what God had planned! Yesterday afternoon, we had an amazing Pamana Bible Talk, and we were absolutely blown away to welcome 13 visitors to our frosh discussion! 🎉

With a brand new term kicking off in our fast-paced quarterm system, we focused on our main charge: "The Foundation Worth Building." We dove straight into Matthew 7:24-27, reminding us that whether we're facing heavy academic loads, rapid-fire deadlines, or personal storms, building our lives on the solid rock of Jesus is the only way to stand firm.

We were also deeply encouraged by two powerful messages:
✨ Striving with Friends by Justine Rosario – a great reminder that we aren't meant to build our lives alone; community matters!
✨ Surviving with God by our very own Mapúa alumni, sister Pau Mariano – proving that surviving the intense quarterm grind is absolutely possible when God is your ultimate foundation.

Of course, it wouldn't be a proper welcome without some great fellowship over pizza, cupcakes, and drinks! 🍕🧁🥤 A huge thank you to everyone who pushed through and spent their afternoon with us.

To all the freshmen: as you start drafting the blueprints of your college life, make sure you're building on the Rock! 🏗️🙏

✨ Are you living a meaningful life? ✨

Last July 23, we had a refreshing time at the beautiful Puerta Real Gardens for our Hinirang Bible Talk! We had an incredible turnout and were so thrilled to welcome all our visitors, especially the incoming freshmen of the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM).

As we gear up for a new chapter of university life, we took a pause to ask ourselves a heavy but necessary question about our true purpose. We dove deep into Mark 8:34-37, which challenged us with a powerful reality check:

"For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world and forfeit his soul?"

It’s so easy to get caught up in the pressure of grades, achievements, and the daily hustle. But this passage reminded us that true meaning isn't found in worldly success—it’s found when we choose to take up our cross and follow Jesus.

A huge thank you to everyone who spent their afternoon with us! The deep conversations, the warm fellowship in the gardens, and the free drinks definitely made it a memorable time! 🧋🌿

To all the PLM freshies: your college journey is just beginning. Let’s make it a truly meaningful one together!

🎓✨ 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂?

Last July 16, 2026, we gathered at Aviary Cafe for an inspiring Liyag Bible Talk Discussion! With the hustle and bustle of a new semester approaching, we took a step back to ask ourselves a crucial question about our goals, our dreams, and our future.

We dove deep into Psalms 127:1:
"Unless the LORD builds the house, the builders labor in vain. Unless the LORD watches over the city, the guards stand watch in vain."

It was a powerful reminder that no matter how hard we grind for our degrees and careers, true success and lasting peace are only found when we let God be the ultimate foundation of our lives.

🎒 College Essentials 101
Because we were just a stone’s throw away from the Universidad de Manila (UDM), we couldn't wrap up without our special segment! We shared our top survival tips, campus must-haves, and a whole lot of encouragement for the students gearing up for the academic year.

Thank you to everyone who came through for the fellowship, the food, and the Word. Let’s keep building our "houses" with the Lord! 🙏🤍
