~ AN URGENT PRAYER REQUEST from our Dear Brethren in ROMANIA ~
Just a little bit ago I received a sincere, heartfelt message from a long-time individual who was a monthly supporter of our 25 year old ministry and labor of love for souls in Romania. This dear child of God was open and honest by sharing that, due to circumstances beyond their control, a drastic reduction in their income was happening now and because of this they could no longer send a generous monthly offering to assist our mission work in Eastern Europe.
With the clear description given, I was thankful that the person was open and honest about what had happened and this also gave me better insight on how to pray for their unfortunate situation. Please read carefully and prayerfully the remainder of what I am going to share...
Right now the inflation rate for the past year in Romania is 9.8% versus 2.8% in America. The price of fuel for our car is nearing $8.00 per gallon and our utility bills (heating and electric) have doubled since last year. The same situation of prices doubling has also affected our grocery and food bill.
As most of you know, we are in the middle of constructing a building (Phase 3) that will be our local church sanctuary and needful Christian Education Center in the village. The increase in the costs of building materials over the past year coupled with the ever rising flat tax of 21% on all purchases causes the progress on the new structure move most times at a snail's pace.
Please know that I am not whining, crying nor discouraged because my faith is in our Heavenly Father to provide for every need and always right on time, Amen! However; we all know that He uses people, both saved and lost, to fulfill His will in whatever way that He sees fit to bring honor and glory to His lovely name.
Therefore, I am imploring every one of my friends, family and yes, even enemies, to consider how you might be a blessing to help us with this need and offsetting the recent loss of support that I mentioned in the beginning of this post.
Without a doubt I am sure that there are more than a few who could share $1.00 per day (which equals only $30 per month) and for certain there are many more who could go a lot further as the Lord leads and guides. From my own personal experience I have learned that the best time to give is when we think that we can't (which is a falsehood from the devil) so that God can "show out" and prove that Satan is a liar!
I have shared and provided two different ways below that you may show your faith and love for our labors in Brasov county, Romania or if you might feel it easier or better to send a check or money order to our home/sending church I will be glad to give you the address and other options in a private message here on Facebook.
Otherwise, I prefer using instant, secure online giving since it is faster and there are no gaps or delays in the respective person receiving the gift that God has put on my heart.
In closing, I want to thank everyone who is faithful in praying and giving as well as those who will join our team as a "Vital Link" across the waters so that lost and dying souls and the innocent little ones may know the true love of Christ and how to have eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour!
