A LIFE of GOODNESS and doing good is rooted in Scripture, guided by God's own character and expressed through a life transformed by faith and love.

God's Goodness: Passages like Psalm 34:8 and Psalm 23:6 remind us to taste the Lord's goodness and trust in His unfailing love, while Nahum 1:7 portrays Him as a refuge in times of trouble.

Living a Life of Goodness: Micah 6:8 calls us to act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly, and Romans 12:9 urges sincere love that clings to what is good. Additionally, Ephesians 2:10 reminds believers they are created in Christ Jesus to do good works….

1 Corinthians 10:13

13 No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.

Key Insights….
*Not "More Than You Can Handle": The verse talks about moral temptation, not general life suffering like grief or tragedy. God does allow hard trials to teach us to lean on Him.
*Historical Warning: Paul wrote this right after reminding the early church about ancient Israel. They failed in the desert because they gave in to selfish desires and complaining.
*Active Resistance: The "way of escape" is like an open mountain pass. You still have to choose to take the path instead of staying in the danger zone

Midweek Prayer:

Ang tunay na kahulugan ng kaligtasan ay makikita sa Juan 3:16, Efeso 2:8-9, at Mga Gawa 4:12. Sinasabi sa mga talatang ito na ang kaligtasan ay libreng regalo ng Diyos mula sa kaparusahan ng kasalanan sa pamamagitan lamang ng pananampalataya kay Jesu-Cristo.

Juan 3:16 - Ibinigay ng Diyos ang Kanyang Anak upang ang sumampalataya ay hindi mapahamak kundi magkaroon ng buhay na walang hanggan.

Efeso 2:8-9 - Naligtas tayo sa pamamagitan ng biyaya sa pamamagitan ng pananampalataya; hindi ito mula sa sarili nating gawa para walang magyabang.

Mga Gawa 4:12 - Walang ibang pangalan sa ilalim ng langit na ibinigay upang tayo ay maligtas kundi ang kay Jesu-Cristo lamang.
