"We are changed young people making a difference in the community."

YOUTHCHANGED is the youth ministry of The Blessed Word Int'l Church (BWC). We are a caring and a discipleship ministry catering the young members of the church, ages 13 to 21.

~We train, equip and disciple youth.
~We serve as a venue to nourish their spiritual, social, psychological and emotional needs through regular fellowship, interactions and body ministry.
~We provide guidance to them in re

sponding to their call to service or vocational inclinations.
~We minister to fellow youth via encouragement or physical help.
~We serve as a source for pastoral/ ministerial workers. Youth Service Schedule: Sundays, 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm (Blessed Word Center)

As we begin another school year, we were reminded that following Christ is not just about what we believe, but also about how we respond. We are grateful for Sis. Jessa, for sharing God's Word from 1 Peter, reminding us that true victory is found not in fighting back, but in responding the way Jesus would.

We learned four marks of a Christian living for Christ in a difficult world: live in unity and love, pursue peace and righteousness, do not fear suffering for doing what is right, and follow Christ, our perfect example. May we continue to honor Christ in our hearts, stand firm in our faith, and share the hope we have with gentleness and respect.

Last Youth Fellowship, we gathered to reflect on the timely message shared by Sis. Shekinah. In a world that constantly pressures us to compare, rush, and chase what others have, we were reminded that God never calls us to keep up with the world's timeline. Instead, He calls us to be deeply rooted in Him, trusting that every season has a purpose.

We learned that rushing often leads to comparison, wrong priorities, and decisions made out of pressure. But when we choose to wait on the Lord, He shapes our character, strengthens our faith, and prepares us for the blessings He has planned in His perfect time.

Just as a tree grows strong through deep roots before it bears fruit, may we continue to grow in Christ, knowing that lasting fruit comes in His season, not ours.
