If there is a thing that this community quarantine teaches us as a worship team, ito yun:

Na hindi limitado ang ministry ng worship team sa pagle-lead ng kantahan every Sunday.

Maybe for some of us, we have limited our task to preparing and playing and leading the congregation every single week.

But, now in the time of community quarantine

- na walang full band
- na walang LCD Projector or lyrica
- na walang enggrandeng stage designs at lights

we go back to the simplicity of worship.

And I think,
we need to realize that
another task of us in the worship team is
to TEACH the people how to worship.

Na kapag nagle-lead tayo pag Sunday, unti unti natin silang tinuturuan ng iba't ibang expressions of worship.

We don't need to preach kapag nagle-lead tayo.
What we just need to do is to demonstrate it and to exhort them to do it and express their worship.

That we need to teach them that worship is not just singing and dancing.
That worship does not need the equipment only found in a church.
That you can express your worship anywhere.

More than leading singing, one task of us in the worship team is TEACHING. And it is TEACHING BY EXAMPLE. :)
