We praise the Lord for the culminating day of our Vacation Bible School (VBS) held this May 17, during our Afternoon Worship.

The VBS students joyfully presented heavenly songs and memory verses, then received their certificates and special awards. Parents and guardians joined in support, making the occasion even more meaningful.

We were blessed by the message of Missionary Sonny Guerrero, who shared about being born again and led the guests to the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. Truly, the greatest harvest is seeing lives touched by God’s Word and transformed by His grace.

As we celebrate the completion of this year’s Vacation Bible School, let us continue to pray for the children—that the Word of God planted in their hearts will grow, bear fruit, and guide them to walk faithfully with Christ all the days of their lives.

We praise the Lord as we celebrate the marriage of Bro. Irvin and Sis. Mavs Salegon. For eight blessed years, Sis. Mavs has faithfully served God with us here in Imus. Though we will miss her, we rejoice as she steps into a new season of serving the Lord, alongside Bro. Irvin, at International Bible Baptist Church of Calinan in Davao City.

We are praying for God’s guidance and blessings on your new journey together.

We praise the Lord for the final day of our Vacation Bible School! Today’s lesson, “A Great Harvest,” focused on living out the Fruit of the Spirit and spreading the seeds of faith to others.

Guided by Galatians 5:22–23, the children learned that love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance are the fruits that grow in a life rooted in Christ. Through songs, stories, and activities, they discovered that these fruits are not only for personal growth but also for sharing God’s love with the world.

As we close this year’s Vacation Bible School, we ask for your continued prayers—that the seeds planted throughout the week will bear lasting fruit, and that each child will carry the light of Christ into their homes, schools, and communities, becoming a blessing wherever they go.

We thank God for the fourth day of our Vacation Bible School, where the lesson “Weeding the Garden” reminded the children that just as gardens must be cleared of weeds to grow healthy and strong, our spiritual lives must also be freed from sins that hinder growth.

Guided by Hebrews 12:1, the children learned the importance of removing distractions and sinful habits so that faith can flourish. Through stories, songs, and activities, they discovered that God calls us to live with hearts purified and ready to grow in Him.

As Vacation Bible School ends tomorrow, we humbly ask for your prayers that each child will learn to lay aside every weight, overcome the sins that hinder, and grow steadfastly in the grace and strength of the Lord.

We praise the Lord for the third day of our Vacation Bible School, where the lesson “Watering and Sunshine are Needed to Grow” reminded the children that just as seeds need nourishment to thrive, our faith flourishes through reading God’s Word and prayer. They discovered that daily devotion strengthens the heart and guides it toward maturity in Christ.

Songs, stories, and activities highlighted how God provides everything needed for growth, and that His Word and prayer are the true light and water that sustain us.

We humbly ask for your prayers that each child will remain rooted in God’s Word, watered by His grace, and strengthened by prayer, growing into lives that shine with His blessings.

Day 2 of Vacation Bible School was a joyful journey into “Planting and Sprouting Seeds.” The children discovered how faith, even as small as a grain of mustard, can grow into something mighty and full of blessings. Guided by Matthew 13:31, they learned that God takes the tiniest beginnings and nurtures them into lives that bear fruit for His glory.

From 32 children on the first day to 48 eager hearts today, the growth in attendance reflected the very lesson being taught—that seeds planted in faith will sprout and flourish. Songs, lessons, and activities helped the children see how God’s Word takes root and begins to grow in their lives.

As Vacation Bible School continues daily until May 15, we humbly ask for your prayers. May the seeds of faith sown this week take root deeply, sprout with strength, and grow into trees of blessing in the lives of every child.

Bethany Bible Baptist Church Imus joyfully opened its Vacation Bible School (VBS) with the theme “Growing with God: A Seed’s Lifestory” centered on Luke 8:15. Children from Barangays Anabu I-D, Anabu II-A, Pasong Buaya 1, along with BBB Academy students, gathered for the first day of learning and fellowship.

Today's VBS focused on “Preparing the Soil”, the readiness of one's heart, drawn from Psalm 51:10. Through the Parable of the Sower, the children discovered that God plants faith in our hearts through His Word. They learned the importance of having hearts ready to listen, believe, and grow in Him. Songs of praise lifted their spirits, interactive lessons deepened their understanding, and joyful activities helped them see that preparing the heart is the first step toward growing in God.

The program will continue daily until May 15, from 9:00 to 11:30 AM. As we nurture these young hearts, we humbly ask for your prayers that the seeds of faith sown during this week will take root and grow strong in the lives of every child.
