Ep. 2 ADJUSTMENTS

It is my late father’s birthday today.
Juanito “Johnny” Remulla Sr. (born in 1933) was a former lawyer who became one of Cavite’s longest serving Governors.
He died almost seven years ago.
Even in his old age we could never keep him home. There was always something to do. People to help. Projects to finish.
Without him, Cavite would have been a different place.
This is a man who insisted the right thing to do when everyone said no. He stood firm when everyone was jumping ship.
I am his Junior. He is the reason I am here today. He believed in me when no one else did. I owe everything to him.
My service is a tribute to his undying love for the Province of Cavite and for our country.
If he were alive today? He would have hated the pandemic. He would have hated to see people suffering and dying. He would have hated what's happening to our country.

MECQ Adjustments:
1. Curfew is adjusted 8PM to 5AM. Kasabay na po natin ang NCR+.
2. Retail stores are allowed to operate at mall hours. Same mall rules continue.
3. Puede na ulit ang alfresco dining. Pero dahan-dahan lang ang paglabas dahil kung hindi naman kailangan ay sa bahay na lang kayo.
4. Religious activities are allowed at 10% capacity only. Kung may kasal, patay, o binyag? Umiwas sa kainan sabay kwentuhan. Dyan madalas kumakalat at naghahawahan. Kaya dehins muna ang mga iba’t ibang uri ng celebrations at group gatherings.
Nararamdaman na ang epekto ng 2 weeks ECQ. Kahapon ay 180+ ang kaso. Mataas pa rin ito pero mababa na sa peak na 1,884 cases 10 days ago.
Mag-ingat ng todo. Kamakailan ay namatay ang isang mataas na opisyal ng COMELEC-Cavite. Siya ay 40 years old lamang. Sa Kapitolyo lang ay apat na ang namatay sa huling limang araw.
Walang bulletproof sa COVID. Kahit bata pa ay tinatamaan.
Puno pa rin ang mga ospital at mahirap makapasok - maliban na lang kung may kapit sa langit tulad ni SPOX*.
