Happy 18th Presbyteral Anniversary, Rev. Fr. Obaldo Pagulon Jr., SLT!

Long message ahead. ❤️

This day is more than just a celebration; it is a sacred milestone that marks 18 years of your faithful journey in the priesthood—18 years of saying “yes” to God, serving His people, and offering your life as an instrument of His love and grace.

Throughout the simple yet meaningful years we have been blessed to journey with you, we have come to see you as more than just our priest—you have become our good shepherd. You have walked with us through joys and struggles, guided us in our faith, and cared for us as your parishioners.

One of the most unforgettable footprints you have left in our community is your good governance and leadership. You have shown us that true leadership is not about position, but about humility, wisdom, responsibility, and genuine service. Thank you for always stepping up, caring for us, and seeking what is best for the people entrusted to you.

As Bishop Glenn has said, you are truly worthy of your appointment as the new Pastoral Director of the Diocese of Ipil, because of your ability, wisdom, knowledge, and dedication to the Church. We believe that this new responsibility is another beautiful calling from God—an opportunity to shepherd and serve an even wider community of His people.

As you celebrate 18 years of priesthood and begin this new chapter, may God continue to strengthen you, guide your decisions, and renew your joy in serving Him. May He give you wisdom in every challenge, courage in every responsibility, and grace to remain faithful to the vocation you have embraced.

Thank you, Father, for saying “yes” to God 18 years ago and for continuing to say “yes” every day. Thank you for your sacrifices, leadership, presence, and love for your people.

Happy 18th Presbyteral Anniversary, Father! May your priesthood continue to bear abundant fruit, and may your new mission as Pastoral Director be filled with grace, wisdom, and blessings.

In a fast-paced world full of noise, worry, and distractions, it is easy to lose our peace. We often look for God only in big, dramatic miracles, and we end up missing the quiet, beautiful ways He works in our ordinary days.

Today, Jesus gently invites us to open our hearts. Trusting God doesn’t require big, spectacular signs. True faith begins when we quiet the chaos around us and look closer. If we pause to pray and listen today, what small, hidden blessings will we find God giving us?
