The Investiture of New Servers

With hearts full of faith and devotion, we celebrate the investiture of our newest altar servers at Santa Maria Chinese-Filipino Parish. As they embark on this sacred journey, may they always be selfless, faithful, and committed to the ministry of the altar, offering their service not for recognition, but for the glory of God.

Today, the parish altar servers attended their formation module in preparation for the Solemn Investiture and Renewal. The session focused on Youth in the Mind of the Church and the Church Fathers, Volunteerism and Sacrifice, and Commitment and Consistency. The formation was facilitated by the seminarians assigned to our parish, namely: Seminarians Christan Perlin, Gibbs Salamaña, and Jemar Valdevieso.

This morning, the Altar Servers of Santa Maria Chinese-Filipino Parish served during the ninth day of the Novena Masses in honor of Señor Santo Niño de Cebu at San Jose Parish Placer. The Holy Mass was presided over by Reverend Father Jose Victor Velez, team-ministry member of Santa Maria Chinese-Filipino Parish, and concelebrated by Reverend Father Nelson G. Zerda, OSA, Parish Priest of San Jose Parish Placer.
