I believe in my heart and openly profess that the bread and wine which are placed upon the altar are by the mystery of the sacred prayer and the words of the Redeemer substantially changed into the true and life-giving Flesh and Blood of Jesus Christ Our Lord and after the Consecration, there is present the true Body of Christ which was born of the Virgin Mary and offered up for the salvation of the world, hung upon the Cross, and now sits at the right hand of the Father and there is present the true Blood of Christ which flowed from his side. They are present not only by means of a sign and of the efficacy of the Sacrament, but also in the very reality and truth of their nature and substance. Amen.

REFLECTION:

✝️Most of the gains in life are attained through sufferings.
It is only when you allow pain that you get yourself trained.

✝️Sufferings are facets to make you potentially stronger in the midst of challenges and trials. The beauty of its realization can only become apparent when you are able to endure the heftiness of your agonies for a greater purpose. God gives you pains not to punish you but to purify every stained aspect of your life. Problems are never deviated from your daily routines. They become your way of sharing his cross by carrying the heavy loads essential to let you dwell nearest to his heart. It is not a matter of how heavy or light your cross is, it's a matter of your willingness to carry it. Rejection may only lead you to a heavier load while acceptance makes you savor the prize of endurance.

✝️Never be afraid to carry your cross, God lifts the other end of the post.

✝️Fasting in this Lenten Season is a deprivation of something that you want. Ordinarily, this is manifested on food intakes.

✝️Take it on a level of a more meaningful expression and not just reduce it to consumption. Fast from anger and exude forgiveness instead; fast from jealousy and learn to appreciate blessings whether it is yours or of others; fast from the tendency of being proud and put on humility to accept people whoever they are; fast from your selfishness and start to share a little that you can afford to assist the one who needs; fast from being arrogant to becoming compassionate and loving to those you considered difficult to be with. Finally, fast from your media screen and be a medium of God's presence to everyone. The accomplishment of which of these is already within your grasp to dispense.

✝️Temptations are quick to delude you. So better be fast in your change of heart.

A HEALING PRAYER TO JESUS:

Lord Jesus Christ, You bore our sufferings and carried our sorrows. To You was revealed the powers of heaven and might. I call upon Your blessed name to come upon with power on my bodily diseases and heal them.
As You made clean the lepers, heal those with diseases that affect the body and make them clean and whole again.

Heal me too from any sickness, as I humble myself under Your feet and seek forgiveness for all I have done against the word of the Father and His will.

I pray and believe that no guilt is so great, that which Your precious blood cannot atone. No corruption so strong, that Your grace cannot subdue. No illness that is incurable in Your blessed name, Lord Jesus.

CLEANSING PRAYERS:

🌹Heavenly Father, in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, by the power of the Holy Spirit, we pray that the cleansing power of the precious blood of Your Son come upon us right now. Purify us and wash us clean with the blood of Jesus from the top of our heads down to the very soles of our feet. Let this blood pe*****te the very marrow of our bones to cleanse us from any entanglement from whatever spirit we have come in contact with during the course of the day. Anoint us with the gifts of the Holy Spirit and refresh our body, soul, and spirit; and may the sign of Your Holy Cross (✠) drive away all evil spirits from us. Amen.

REFLECTION:

🌹It's not just about the miracle of the multiplication, but the care that pushed the kindness of God's affection.

🌹You can always create love within yourself and for yourself. But having the love to impart is a purely different thing. How you feel for others describes the kind of person you are. Feeling other's joy resembles your oneness in their triumph. Lifting them up in their pains makes you a reducer to lessen their suffering. Becoming sensitive to their needs defines your strength to emphatize to their quest. In so doing, you are letting out that inherent gift God has given you in permitting him to reach out to others through you. You don't exude one to just pray when he's hungry but allowing God to use your hand to expiate that longing. Be enormous in your life and don't just contend in satisfying yourself lest you become self-serving. Reach out to fill up that vacuum of longing that many others have sought curtailing.

🌹Let your heart move with pity and assure yourself that God never leaves your company.

❤️Whatever that is bothering you lay it before God He will take care of it! Thank you God!

✝️Let your heart move with pity and be rest assured that God never leaves your company.

✝️How would you feel for others describes the kind of person you are. Feeling other's joy will resemble your being one with their triumph. In so doing, you are letting out that inherent gift God has given you in permitting him reaching out to others through you. ✝️ READING | HOLY GOSPEL
SATURDAY OF THE FIFTH WEEK IN ORDINARY TIME ,
MEMORIAL OF SAINT SCHOLASTICA , VIRGIN

✝️FIRST READING :
1 KINGS 12:26-32; 13:33-34

26 Jeroboam thought to himself: “The kingdom will return to David’s house.

27 If now this people go up to offer sacrifices in the temple of the LORD in Jerusalem, the hearts of this people will return to their master, Rehoboam, king of Judah, and they will kill me.”

28 After taking counsel, the king made two calves of gold and said to the people: “You have been going up to Jerusalem long enough. Here is your God, O Israel, who brought you up from the land of Egypt.”

29 And he put one in Bethel, the other in Dan.

30 This led to sin, because the people frequented those calves in Bethel and in Dan.

31 He also built temples on the high places and made priests from among the people who were not Levites.

32 Jeroboam established a feast in the eighth month on the fifteenth day of the month to duplicate in Bethel the pilgrimage feast of Judah, with sacrifices to the calves he had made; and he stationed in Bethel priests of the high places he had built.

33 Jeroboam did not give up his evil ways after this, but again made priests for the high places from among the common people. Whoever desired it was consecrated and became a priest of the high places.

34 This was a sin on the part of the house of Jeroboam for which it was to be cut off and destroyed from the earth.

✝️RESPONSORIAL PSALM :
PSALMS 106:6-7AB, 19-20, 21-22

RESPONSE :
Remember us, O Lord, as you favor your people.

6 We have sinned, we and our fathers;
we have committed crimes; we have done wrong.
7AB Our fathers in Egypt
considered not your wonders.

RESPONSE :
Remember us, O Lord, as you favor your people.

19 They made a calf in Horeb
and adored a molten image;
20 They exchanged their glory
for the image of a grass-eating bullock.

RESPONSE :
Remember us, O Lord, as you favor your people.

21 They forgot the God who had saved them,
who had done great deeds in Egypt,
22 Wondrous deeds in the land of Ham,
terrible things at the Red Sea.

RESPONSE :
Remember us, O Lord, as you favor your people.

✝️HOLY GOSPEL
GOSPEL READING
MARK 8: 1-10

In those days when there again was a great crowd without anything to eat, Jesus summoned the disciples and said, “My heart is moved with pity for the crowd, because they have been with me now for three days and have nothing to eat. If I send them away hungry to their homes, they will collapse on the way, and some of them have come a great distance.”
His disciples answered him, “Where can anyone get enough bread to satisfy them here in this deserted place?” Still he asked them, “How many loaves do you have?” They replied “Seven.” He ordered the crowd to sit down on the ground. Then, taking the seven loaves he gave thanks, broke them, and gave them to his disciples to distribute, and they distributed them to the crowd. They also had a few fish. He said the blessing over them and ordered them distributed also. They ate and were satisfied. They picked up the fragments left over–seven baskets. There were about four thousand people.
He dismissed the crowd and got into the boat with his disciples and came to the region of Dalmanutha.
