One thing I have learned through the years is that there is no retirement in serving God. As younger generations come and rise up, our role may shift from doing everything ourselves to training, mentoring, and supervising themโbut we never stop serving.
In the Kingdom of God, we do not say, โTapos na kami, kayo naman.โ Instead, we say, "Come, let us serve the LORD together.โ Every generation has a role to play in advancing God's Kingdom.
The ๐ง๐ฅ๐จ๐ง๐ is, the ๐๐ข๐ฅ๐ ๐๐๐ฆ๐จ๐ฆ deserves our all. Even a lifetime of service can never fully repay what He has done for us through His sacrifice on the cross. We serve not out of obligation, but out of love and gratitude.
By ๐๐ข๐โ๐ฆ ๐๐ฅ๐๐๐, I have been serving Him since my childhood days. Our home was far from the church, yet that never became an excuse. I remember accompanying my mother as she trained children's ministry volunteers. Later, I became involved in theater arts during my youth, then served in the music ministryโfirst as a drummer and eventually as a backup singer. When discipleship was introduced in our church, I embraced it wholeheartedly.
Looking back, I realize that I never needed a title to serve God. What mattered was a willing heart. God is not looking for titles; He is looking for people who are available and surrendered to Him.
We also cannot truly serve God without serving His people. After Jesus' resurrection, He asked Peter three times,
โDo you love Me?โ
Each time Peter answered yes, Jesus responded, โ๐๐ฒ๐ฒ๐ฑ ๐ ๐ ๐๐ต๐ฒ๐ฒ๐ฝโ (John 21:15-17). Our love for Jesus is demonstrated by how we care for, disciple, encourage, and serve others.
Perhaps the question is not, โWhat can I do for God?โ The better question is:

When we place our lives in His hands, He can use us far beyond our own abilities and expectations.
So let us strive to be ๐.๐.๐ง Christians:

โฑ๏ธ ๐๐ฏ๐๐ข๐ฅ๐๐๐ฅ๐ โ Ready whenever and wherever God calls.
โฅ๏ธ ๐๐๐๐๐ก๐๐๐ฅ๐ โ Humble enough to keep learning, growing, and being corrected.
God can do extraordinary things through ordinary people who are faithful, available, and teachable.
Let us continue serving the Lord with joy until the day we see Him face to face.
