Moments of farewell and welcome became a meaningful celebration of faith and love as the Jaro Metropolitan Cathedral Parish community gathered at La Isabelita Hall for the Despedida and Bienvenida of the outgoing and incoming priests of the Cathedral.
The evening was filled with gratitude as parishioners, ministry members, and guests honored the dedicated service of Rev. Fr. Aris James Java and Rev. Fr. Michael Reeve Sogo-an. Through their years of ministry, they became instruments of guidance, compassion, and spiritual leadership to the parish community they faithfully served.
At the same time, the Cathedral community warmly welcomed Rev. Fr. Julius Almeria and Rev. Fr. Carlo Noquez as they began their new pastoral mission at the Jaro Metropolitan Cathedral.
In his message, Rev. Fr. Jose Alberto Guillen expressed his sincere gratitude to the outgoing priests for their generous and faithful service to the Church. He also welcomed the incoming priests with joy and thanked everyone who took part in the celebration.
More than a simple gathering, the celebration became a beautiful reminder of the continuing mission of the Church, a journey marked by gratitude for those who have served and hope for those who are called to continue the work of Christ among His people.
