“When the Holy Spirit came upon them, the Holy Spirit empowered them, gave them courage, and the Holy Spirit sent them out. They were no longer afraid to be known and identified as followers of Jesus. The Holy Spirit reminds us constantly: ‘Remember who you are. You are a child of God, created in the image and likeness of God.’ Made by God who is love, we are made of love, made for love, and made to love.”

In the midst of doubt and confusion, let us return to that moment of peace. This Ascension Sunday, may we be bearers of memory and builders of hope, remembering the beautiful presence of a God who walks with us. In a world full of chaos and noise, let us hold on to His peace, trust, and hope — believing always that all shall be well.

On this World Communications Sunday, we give thanks to all the dedicated individuals behind the social media pages, livestreams, announcements, publications, and communications ministry of every parish.

Your quiet dedication helps bring the Gospel closer to people, connects communities in faith, and keeps the Church present in today’s digital world. Thank you for your endless service, creativity, patience, and commitment in sharing truth, hope, and God’s message with others.

May the Lord continue to bless and guide all communicators and media servants in their mission.

Through our ongoing Catechism Classes for First Holy Communion and the celebration of Flores de Mayo, we continue to guide the young closer to Jesus through the loving hands of our Blessed Mother Mary. May these moments of prayer, learning, and devotion plant seeds of holiness in their hearts.

Happy Mother’s Day to all our dear mothers!

“As the Jewish proverb says, ‘God could not be everywhere, so He created mothers.’” Today, we thank God for the love, sacrifice, strength, and compassion that mothers bring into our lives.

In a special way, we also honor our Blessed Mother Mary, whose faith and loving obedience continue to inspire us all. May she watch over and guide every family with her motherly care.

We also prepared small Bible verse messages for all mothers, available at the front of the church after Mass

Jesus tells us now that love is not simply a sentimental one or a verbal expression. Love is functional. If you love me, then that love must function through obedience. The Holy Spirit does not simply visit us; He dwells in us, guides us, and continually leads us to the Father. The world will continually distract us, but when we allow the Holy Spirit to have a voice in us, He inspires us to grow in love, obedience, and faith. Wake up, Christian. You have the Spirit in you, and bring that Spirit to the world through your life.
