𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗡𝗗𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗢𝗡𝗚 𝗜𝗡 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗙𝗥𝗘𝗘𝗗𝗢𝗠 𝗢𝗙 𝗚𝗢𝗗'𝗦 𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗖𝗘

"Therefore if any man be in CHRIST, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new." 2 Corinthians 5:17 (KJV)

Sometimes the 𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙢𝙮 keeps us imprisoned by reminding us of 𝙬𝙝𝙤 we 𝙪𝙨𝙚𝙙 to be. He brings back our past 𝙛𝙖𝙞𝙡𝙪𝙧𝙚𝙨, 𝙢𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙠𝙚𝙨, 𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙨, and 𝙬𝙚𝙖𝙠𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙚𝙨 and whispers, "𝘠𝘰𝘶 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘢𝘭𝘸𝘢𝘺𝘴 𝘣𝘦 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘰𝘯." But 𝗚𝗢𝗗's 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗱 tells us something completely different. If we are in 𝗖𝗛𝗥𝗜𝗦𝗧, we are a 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲.

𝘾𝙝𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙖𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙮 is not simply about becoming a 𝙗𝙚𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙧 version of our old selves; it is about being 𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙨𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙢𝙚𝙙 by the 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗲 of 𝗚𝗢𝗗. Our 𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘁 is part of our 𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘆, but it is not our 𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘆. We should learn from our 𝙛𝙖𝙞𝙡𝙪𝙧𝙚𝙨, repent from our 𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙨, and make things 𝙧𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩 when necessary — but we do not have to 𝙡𝙞𝙫𝙚 forever under the shadow of yesterday.

The 𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙢𝙮 wants us to look 𝙗𝙖𝙘𝙠𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙙 with 𝙨𝙝𝙖𝙢𝙚, while 𝗚𝗢𝗗 calls us to look forward with 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵. Peter denied 𝗝𝗘𝗦𝗨𝗦, David fell into serious 𝙨𝙞𝙣, and Mark once abandoned the 𝙢𝙞𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙧𝙮 𝙟𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙣𝙚𝙮 — yet 𝗚𝗢𝗗 was not finished with them. Their 𝙛𝙖𝙞𝙡𝙪𝙧𝙚𝙨 became part of their stories of 𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 and 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗲. Your 𝙛𝙖𝙞𝙡𝙪𝙧𝙚 may be real, but 𝗚𝗢𝗗's 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗲 is greater.

Don't allow 𝙜𝙪𝙞𝙡𝙩 to keep you from 𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝗚𝗢𝗗, 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 spiritually, or becoming what 𝗛𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀 you to be. If 𝗖𝗛𝗥𝗜𝗦𝗧 has forgiven you, don't keep 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙢𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 yourself. Rise again, 𝙬𝙖𝙡𝙠 in 𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲, and remember who you are in 𝗖𝗛𝗥𝗜𝗦𝗧.

"𝙔𝙤𝙪 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙥𝙖𝙨𝙩. 𝙔𝙤𝙪 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙖 𝙣𝙚𝙬 𝙘𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚 𝙞𝙣 𝘾𝙃𝙍𝙄𝙎𝙏."

𝙋𝙍𝘼𝙔𝙀𝙍:
Heavenly 𝗙𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿, thank You for Your transforming 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗲. Help us stop allowing our past failures to define our present life. Give us 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲 to repent where we have sinned, wisdom to learn from our mistakes, and 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵 to believe that 𝗬𝗼𝘂 can still use our lives for 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 glory. Help us walk in freedom, holiness, and gratitude for Your amazing grace. May our life become a testimony that Your grace can restore and transform anyone who surrenders to 𝗬𝗼𝘂. In 𝗝𝗘𝗦𝗨𝗦' name, Amen. 𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗡𝗗𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗢𝗡𝗚 𝗔𝗚𝗔𝗜𝗡𝗦𝗧 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗠𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡

"There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in CHRIST JESUS." Romans 8:1 (KJV)

One of the strongest 𝙖𝙩𝙩𝙖𝙘𝙠𝙨 against a believer is the 𝙡𝙞𝙚 of 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙢𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 — the voice that says, "𝘠𝘰𝘶 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘧𝘢𝘪𝘭𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘰𝘰 𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘺 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦𝘴. 𝘎𝘖𝘋 𝘤𝘢𝘯𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘨𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶. 𝘠𝘰𝘶 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘯𝘰 𝘭𝘰𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘳 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘩𝘺 𝘵𝘰 𝘴𝘦𝘳𝘷𝘦 𝘏𝘪𝘮." Yes, sin has consequences, and we should never take sin lightly. We must 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙛𝙚𝙨𝙨 it, 𝙧𝙚𝙥𝙚𝙣𝙩, and 𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙣 𝙗𝙖𝙘𝙠 to 𝗚𝗢𝗗. But for those who are in 𝗖𝗛𝗥𝗜𝗦𝗧 𝗝𝗘𝗦𝗨𝗦, there is a glorious 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘁𝗵: there is no 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙢𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣.

Satan wants our failures to become our 𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙩𝙮, but 𝗚𝗢𝗗 reminds us that our 𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙩𝙮 is found in 𝗖𝗛𝗥𝗜𝗦𝗧. We may stumble, but we do not have to remain 𝙙𝙤𝙬𝙣. We may 𝙛𝙖𝙞𝙡, but 𝙛𝙖𝙞𝙡𝙪𝙧𝙚 does not mean that 𝗚𝗢𝗗 has finished with us. 𝗚𝗢𝗗'𝘀 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗲 gives us the 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲 to 𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗲, 𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘁, and continue 𝘄𝗮𝗹𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 with 𝗛𝗶𝗺.

Today, if you are carrying guilt over your 𝙥𝙖𝙨𝙩, bring it honestly before the 𝗟𝗢𝗥𝗗. Don't allow the enemy to keep reminding you of sins that 𝗚𝗢𝗗 has already forgiven. 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 draws us back to 𝗚𝗢𝗗; 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙢𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 drives us away from 𝗛𝗶𝗺. When 𝗚𝗢𝗗 corrects us, 𝗛𝗲 does so to 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗲 us, not to destroy us.

The 𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀 reminds us that 𝗖𝗛𝗥𝗜𝗦𝗧 has already paid the 𝙥𝙧𝙞𝙘𝙚 for our 𝙨𝙞𝙣. Therefore, 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴 — not in your own 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗲𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀, but in the 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗲𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 of 𝗝𝗘𝗦𝗨𝗦 𝗖𝗛𝗥𝗜𝗦𝗧. Your past may explain where you have been, but it does not have to determine where you are going. If you are in 𝗖𝗛𝗥𝗜𝗦𝗧, you are 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗻, 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗱, and 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗲 to 𝘄𝗮𝗹𝗸 forward in 𝗛𝗶𝘀 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗲.

𝙋𝙍𝘼𝙔𝙀𝙍:
Heavenly 𝗙𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿, thank You for the wonderful assurance that there is no condemnation for those who are in 𝗖𝗛𝗥𝗜𝗦𝗧 𝗝𝗘𝗦𝗨𝗦. Help us distinguish Your loving conviction from the destructive condemnation of the enemy. When we fail, give us humility to repent and faith to receive Your forgiveness. Help us stop living under the weight of guilt that You have already removed. Remind us that our identity is not defined by our past but by 𝗖𝗛𝗥𝗜𝗦𝗧 and His finished work on the cross. Help us walk today in the freedom, grace, and new life You have given us. In 𝗝𝗘𝗦𝗨𝗦' name, Amen. Have a pleasant and beautiful Wednesday.

𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗡𝗗𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗢𝗡𝗚 𝗔𝗚𝗔𝗜𝗡𝗦𝗧 𝗗𝗘𝗠𝗢𝗡𝗜𝗖 𝗟𝗜𝗘𝗦

"When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it." John 8:44 (KJV)

The enemy's greatest 𝙬𝙚𝙖𝙥𝙤𝙣 is often not what he can do to us, but what he can make us 𝙗𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙚𝙫𝙚. From the beginning, Satan has been a 𝙙𝙚𝙘𝙚𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙧, twisting 𝗚𝗢𝗗'𝘀 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗱 and planting doubt in the hearts of people. He whispers lies such as, "𝗚𝗢𝗦 𝙝𝙖𝙨 𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙜𝙤𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙣 𝙮𝙤𝙪," "𝙔𝙤𝙪 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙝𝙡𝙚𝙨𝙨," "𝙏𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙞𝙨 𝙣𝙤 𝙝𝙤𝙥𝙚 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙮𝙤𝙪," or "𝙔𝙤𝙪 𝙘𝙖𝙣 𝙣𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙚." But we must remember that a lie does not become 𝙩𝙧𝙪𝙩𝙝 simply because we hear it repeatedly.

When the 𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙢𝙮 speaks, we answer with the 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘁𝗵 of 𝗚𝗢𝗗'𝘀 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗱. 𝗝𝗘𝗦𝗨𝗦 Himself responded to Satan's temptation with 𝗦𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲. Our defense is not our own 𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙜𝙩𝙝, 𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙞𝙜𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚, or 𝙚𝙢𝙤𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 — it is the 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘁𝗵 of 𝗚𝗢𝗗. When we know 𝗚𝗢𝗗'𝘀 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗱, we become better equipped to recognize the lies that contradict it.

𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴 against demonic lies means learning to bring every thought under the authority of 𝗚𝗢𝗗'𝘀 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘁𝗵. When fear says, "𝙔𝙤𝙪 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙖𝙡𝙤𝙣𝙚," 𝗚𝗢𝗗'𝘀 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗱 says, "𝗜 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗻𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗲, 𝗻𝗼𝗿 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘀𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗲" (Hebrews 13:5). When condemnation says, "𝙔𝙤𝙪 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙗𝙚𝙮𝙤𝙣𝙙 𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙜𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨," 𝗦𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 reminds us that "𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙞𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙚 𝙣𝙤𝙬 𝙣𝙤 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙢𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙩𝙤 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙢 𝙬𝙝𝙞𝙘𝙝 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙞𝙣 𝘾𝙃𝙍𝙄𝙎𝙏 𝙅𝙀𝙎𝙐𝙎" (Romans 8:1).

When the 𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙢𝙮 says, "𝙔𝙤𝙪 𝙘𝙖𝙣𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙚," 𝗚𝗢𝗗'𝘀 𝗪𝗢𝗿𝗱 declares, "𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝘀 𝗛𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂, 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱" (1 John 4:4). Therefore, don't argue with every 𝙡𝙞𝙚 in your mind — replace the 𝙡𝙞𝙚 with 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘁𝗵. 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝗺 in 𝗖𝗛𝗥𝗜𝗦𝗧, fill your 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁 with 𝗦𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲, 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝘆 continually, and remember that the enemy is a 𝙙𝙚𝙛𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙛𝙤𝙚.

"𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙛𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙞𝙨 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙞𝙣 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙖𝙗𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙩𝙤 𝙛𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩 𝙝𝙞𝙢, 𝙗𝙪𝙩 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙛𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙨𝙝𝙚𝙙 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙠 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙖𝙪𝙩𝙝𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙤𝙛 𝙅𝙀𝙎𝙐𝙎 𝘾𝙃𝙍𝙄𝙎𝙏."

𝙋𝙍𝘼𝙔𝙀𝙍:
Heavenly 𝗙𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿, help me recognize the lies of the enemy and refuse to believe what contradicts 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗱. Guard my 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱 and 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁 from 𝙙𝙚𝙘𝙚𝙥𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣, 𝙛𝙚𝙖𝙧, 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙢𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣, and 𝙙𝙞𝙨𝙘𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙖𝙜𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩. Fill me with 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘁𝗵 and give me 𝘄𝗶𝘀𝗱𝗼𝗺 to distinguish 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘃𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲 from the lies that 𝙨𝙚𝙚𝙠 to pull me away from 𝗬𝗼𝘂. Help me 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝗺 in the 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵, clothed with the 𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗼𝗿 𝗬𝗼𝘂 have provided. When the enemy attacks, remind me that my 𝘃𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 is found in 𝗝𝗘𝗦𝗨𝗦 𝗖𝗛𝗥𝗜𝗦𝗧. May 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗱 be my foundation, 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗦𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝘁 my 𝗴𝘂𝗶𝗱𝗲, and 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘁𝗵 my 𝗱𝗲𝗳𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗲. In 𝗝𝗘𝗦𝗨𝗦’ name, Amen. 𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗡𝗗𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗢𝗡𝗚 𝗔𝗚𝗔𝗜𝗡𝗦𝗧 𝗗𝗜𝗦𝗔𝗣𝗣𝗢𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧

"𝙏𝙧𝙪𝙨𝙩 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝙇𝙊𝙍𝘿 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘦 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘵; 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘯 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘶𝘯𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘦 𝘰𝘸𝘯 𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨." Proverbs 3:5 (KJV)

𝘿𝙞𝙨𝙖𝙥𝙥𝙤𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 is painful because it often comes when reality does not 𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙘𝙝 what we hoped for. We 𝙥𝙧𝙖𝙮𝙚𝙙, we 𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙣𝙚𝙙, we 𝙩𝙧𝙪𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙙, and yet things did not happen the way we expected. Sometimes 𝙥𝙚𝙤𝙥𝙡𝙚 𝙙𝙞𝙨𝙖𝙥𝙥𝙤𝙞𝙣𝙩 us, 𝙘𝙞𝙧𝙘𝙪𝙢𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚𝙨 disappoint us, and even our 𝙤𝙬𝙣 𝙙𝙚𝙘𝙞𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨 can disappoint us. But 𝙙𝙞𝙨𝙖𝙥𝙥𝙤𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 does not mean that 𝗚𝗢𝗗 has abandoned us.

𝗚𝗢𝗗 may not always give us what we expected, but 𝗛𝗲 will always remain 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗳𝘂𝗹 to who 𝗛𝗲 is. Proverbs reminds us not to lean entirely on our own understanding. There are moments when we cannot explain what 𝗚𝗢𝗗 is doing, but we can still 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁 the 𝗚𝗢𝗗 who is doing it. What looks like a closed door may be 𝗚𝗢𝗗'𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, and what feels like a delay may be part of 𝗛𝗶𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.

When 𝙙𝙞𝙨𝙖𝙥𝙥𝙤𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 comes, we have a choice: 𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙤𝙬 it to make us 𝙗𝙞𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙧 or 𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙤𝙬 𝗚𝗢𝗗 to make us 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿. Don't let one 𝙥𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙛𝙪𝙡 experience convince you that 𝗚𝗢𝗗 is no longer good. Your 𝙙𝙞𝙨𝙖𝙥𝙥𝙤𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 is not the end of your story. 𝙂𝙞𝙫𝙚 your unanswered questions to 𝗚𝗢𝗗, 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 your broken expectations to 𝗛𝗶𝗺, and continue 𝘄𝗮𝗹𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 by 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵. You may not understand today, but someday you may look back and realize that 𝗚𝗢𝗗'𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘀𝗱𝗼𝗺 was greater than your plans.

So, my friend, 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴 — not because everything turned out the way you wanted, but because 𝗚𝗢𝗗 is still worthy of your 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁 even when life doesn't go according to your expectations.

𝗣𝗥𝗔𝗬𝗘𝗥:
Heavenly 𝗙𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿, when I experience 𝙙𝙞𝙨𝙖𝙥𝙥𝙤𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩, help me not to lose my 𝙛𝙖𝙞𝙩𝙝 in 𝙔𝙤𝙪. When my plans fail and my expectations are broken, remind me that 𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙧 plans are 𝙜𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙧 than mine. 𝙃𝙚𝙖𝙡 the hurts in my heart and keep bitterness from taking root within me. 𝙏𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙝 me to 𝙩𝙧𝙪𝙨𝙩 𝙔𝙤𝙪 even when I cannot understand what You are doing. 𝙂𝙞𝙫𝙚 me strength to rise again, 𝙘𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙖𝙜𝙚 to keep moving forward, and 𝙛𝙖𝙞𝙩𝙝 to believe that 𝙔𝙤𝙪 are still working. In 𝗝𝗘𝗦𝗨𝗦’ name, Amen. Have pleasant and beautiful Monday.

𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗡𝗗𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗢𝗡𝗚 𝗔𝗚𝗔𝗜𝗡𝗦𝗧 𝗧𝗥𝗢𝗨𝗕𝗟𝗘

"In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world." John 16:33 (KJV)

𝙏𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙗𝙡𝙚 is part of living in a broken world. Sometimes it comes suddenly; sometimes it comes one burden after another until we feel like we have no strength left. 𝗝𝗘𝗦𝗨𝗦 never promised 𝗛𝗶𝘀 followers a trouble-free life. In fact, 𝗛𝗲 clearly said, "𝘐𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘭𝘥 𝘺𝘦 𝘴𝘩𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘵𝘳𝘪𝘣𝘶𝘭𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯." But 𝗛𝗲 did not stop there. 𝗛𝗲 gave us the greater 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘁𝗵: "𝘉𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘨𝘰𝘰𝘥 𝘤𝘩𝘦𝘦𝘳; 𝘐 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘭𝘥."

Our 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲 does not come from the absence of 𝙩𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙗𝙡𝙚 but from the 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 and 𝘃𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 of 𝗖𝗛𝗥𝗜𝗦𝗧. We may not understand everything we are going through, but we can 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁 the 𝗢𝗻𝗲 who has already overcome.

When 𝙩𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙗𝙡𝙚 comes, don't allow 𝙛𝙚𝙖𝙧 to become greater than your 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵. Don't let one difficult season make you forget 𝗚𝗢𝗗'𝘀 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 in all the seasons that came before it. Standing 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴 does not mean that we never cry, become tired, or ask 𝗚𝗢𝗗, "𝙒𝙝𝙮?" It means that even with 𝙩𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙨 in our eyes, we continue to hold on to 𝗛𝗶𝗺.

The 𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙢 may shake us, but it does not have to destroy us because our foundation is 𝗖𝗛𝗥𝗜𝗦𝗧. So, whatever trouble you are facing today, take another step, pray another 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿, and 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗚𝗢𝗗 for another day. The trouble may be great, but our 𝗚𝗢𝗗 is greater.

𝗣𝗥𝗔𝗬𝗘𝗥:
Heavenly 𝗙𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿, when troubles surround us and we feel overwhelmed, help us to remember that You are greater than every storm. Give us strength when we are weak, courage when we are afraid, and peace when we cannot understand what is happening. Teach us to trust Your presence even when we cannot see Your plan. Help us stand firm in faith, knowing that 𝗝𝗘𝗦𝗨𝗦 𝗖𝗛𝗥𝗜𝗦𝗧 has already overcome the world. May our troubles become opportunities to experience Your faithfulness more deeply. In 𝗝𝗘𝗦𝗨𝗦' name, Amen. Have a blessed and purposeful Sunday.

𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗡𝗗𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗢𝗡𝗚 𝗔𝗚𝗔𝗜𝗡𝗦𝗧 𝗗𝗘𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡

"Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? Hope thou in GOD…" Psalm 42:11 (KJV)

There are 𝙨𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙤𝙣𝙨 when the 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁 becomes heavy, the mind becomes tired, and even the strongest 𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 may feel overwhelmed by 𝙙𝙞𝙨𝙘𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙖𝙜𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩. The psalmist understood this 𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙪𝙜𝙜𝙡𝙚. He did not pretend that everything was fine; he honestly asked, "𝙒𝙝𝙮 𝙖𝙧𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙤𝙪 𝙘𝙖𝙨𝙩 𝙙𝙤𝙬𝙣, 𝙊 𝙢𝙮 𝙨𝙤𝙪𝙡?" Yet he also reminded himself where his hope belonged: "𝙃𝙤𝙥𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙤𝙪 𝙞𝙣 𝙂𝙊𝘿."

Standing strong does not mean that we never become 𝙬𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙮, 𝙨𝙖𝙙, or 𝙙𝙞𝙨𝙘𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙖𝙜𝙚𝙙. It means that even in our darkest moments, we 𝙧𝙚𝙛𝙪𝙨𝙚 to believe that darkness has the final word. Our 𝙛𝙚𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙨 may 𝖼𝗁𝖺𝗇𝗀𝖾, our 𝙘𝙞𝙧𝙘𝙪𝙢𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚𝙨 may change, but 𝗚𝗢𝗗 remains 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗳𝘂𝗹, 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁, and 𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴. When we cannot 𝘀𝗲𝗲 the way forward, we can still hold on to the 𝗢𝗻𝗲 who 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄𝘀 the 𝘄𝗮𝘆.

Perhaps today your 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁 is carrying a burden that nobody else sees. Remember that you do not have to carry it alone. Bring your 𝙥𝙖𝙞𝙣 honestly before 𝗚𝗢𝗗 in 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿, surround yourself with trusted and caring people, and allow others to 𝘄𝗮𝗹𝗸 with you through the difficult season.

My friends, there is no shame in asking for 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽. 𝗙𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵 is not pretending that we are never 𝙝𝙪𝙧𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜; 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵 is 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗚𝗢𝗗 while we are 𝙝𝙪𝙧𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜. So, child of 𝗚𝗢𝗗, stand — not because you are 𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙤𝙣𝙜 enough by yourself, but because your 𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙜𝙩𝙝 comes from the 𝗟𝗢𝗥𝗗. When your 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁 says, "𝙄 𝙘𝙖𝙣𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙜𝙤 𝙤𝙣," let 𝗚𝗢𝗗'𝘀 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗱 remind you, "𝗛𝗼𝗽𝗲 𝙩𝙝𝙤𝙪 𝙞𝙣 𝙂𝙊𝘿." The 𝗚𝗢𝗗 who sustained you yesterday will still be 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗳𝘂𝗹 today and tomorrow.

𝗣𝗥𝗔𝗬𝗘𝗥:
Heavenly 𝗙𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿, when our hearts are heavy and our strengths are weak, help us to look to You. Remind us that we are not alone and that our present darkness does not define our future. Give us courage to seek help, wisdom to receive the care of others, and faith to keep trusting You one day at a time. Hold us 𝗟𝗢𝗥𝗗 when we cannot hold ourselves, renew our strength, and fill our hearts again with hope. May we learn to say with the psalmist, "𝙄 𝙨𝙝𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙮𝙚𝙩 𝙥𝙧𝙖𝙞𝙨𝙚 𝙃𝙞𝙢." In 𝗝𝗘𝗦𝗨𝗦' name, Amen. 𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗡𝗗𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗙𝗜𝗥𝗠 𝗪𝗛𝗘𝗡 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗟𝗗 𝗕𝗘𝗡𝗗𝗦 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗧𝗥𝗨𝗧𝗛

"And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of GOD." Romans 12:2 (KJV)

𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙢𝙞𝙨𝙚 happens when we allow the standards around us to slowly 𝙧𝙚𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙘𝙚 the standards of 𝗚𝗢𝗗 within us. The world may tell us, "𝘌𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺𝘣𝘰𝘥𝘺 𝘪𝘴 𝘥𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘪𝘵," "𝘐𝘵'𝘴 𝘰𝘯𝘭𝘺 𝘢 𝘴𝘮𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨," or "𝘠𝘰𝘶 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘢𝘥𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘪𝘧 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘣𝘦 𝘢𝘤𝘤𝘦𝘱𝘵𝘦𝘥." But 𝙎𝙘𝙧𝙞𝙥𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚 calls us to something different: "𝘽𝙚 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙢𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙤 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙡𝙙."

Daniel and his friends lived in Babylon, but Babylon did not have to live in them. They learned how to live in a culture that opposed their 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵 without allowing that culture to 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙧𝙤𝙡 their convictions. As 𝙗𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙨, we are called to engage the world with 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲, but we must never surrender the 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘁𝗵 of 𝗚𝗢𝗗 simply to 𝙛𝙞𝙩 𝙞𝙣.

𝙎𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙛𝙞𝙧𝙢 does not mean being 𝘢𝘳𝘳𝘰𝘨𝘢𝘯𝘵, 𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘴𝘩, or 𝘶𝘯𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘰 𝘭𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘯. It means having 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙫𝙞𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨 that are anchored in 𝙎𝙘𝙧𝙞𝙥𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚 and a 𝙝𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙩 that remains 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗳𝘂𝗹 to 𝗖𝗛𝗥𝗜𝗦𝗧. There will be moments when standing for 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘁𝗵 costs us 𝙧𝙚𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙥𝙨, 𝙤𝙥𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙚𝙨, 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙩, or 𝙧𝙚𝙘𝙤𝙜𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣. But what is gained if we gain the approval of people while losing our 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 to 𝗚𝗢𝗗?

A 𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 who stands alone with 𝗚𝗢𝗗 is never truly alone. Let us therefore examine our 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘀 today: Where am I being tempted to 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙢𝙞𝙨𝙚? What biblical conviction have I weakened because of 𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙪𝙧𝙚? Am I more concerned about 𝙥𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙥𝙚𝙤𝙥𝙡𝙚 or 𝙥𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝗚𝗢𝗗?

My friends, may we have the 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲 to say, "𝙄 𝙬𝙤𝙪𝙡𝙙 𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧 𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙂𝙊𝘿 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙗𝙚 𝙧𝙚𝙟𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙗𝙮 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙡𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙣 𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙡𝙙 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙗𝙚 𝙪𝙣𝙛𝙖𝙞𝙩𝙝𝙛𝙪𝙡 𝙩𝙤 𝙂𝙊𝘿."

𝙋𝙍𝘼𝙔𝙀𝙍:
LORD, strengthen our hearts when we are tempted to compromise. Renew our minds through Your Word and help us distinguish between what is acceptable to the world and what is pleasing to You. Give us courage to stand for truth with humility, love, and grace. May we never allow fear, popularity, convenience, or personal gain to become more important than our faithfulness to CHRIST. Help us live in this world without being conformed to it. In JESUS' name, Amen. Have a pleasant and beautiful Friday.
