REV. FR. BERNARD TAYPEN who has entered into Eternal Life.

Viewing of the Body will begin on November 23-24 (until 12noon) in St. John the Baptist Parish, Badiangan.

November 24 (1pm) to November 26 (8am) in St. Julian de Cuenca Parish, Janiuay.

November 26 (1pm) to December 10 in his residence at Piedad St. Tubungan.

Funeral Mass will be held on December 10, Wednesday at 9am in St. Anthony Abbot Parish, Tubungan and burial at Tubungan Catholic Cemetery.

Eternal Rest grant unto him, O Lord
And let perpetual light shine upon him.

May he rest in peace. Amen

May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace. Amen.

JUST IN: “It is with great sadness that I have to inform you that Rev. Fr. BERNARD TAYPEN, parish priest of St. Julian Parish, Janiuay, Iloilo, died at 9AM today, November 17, 2025 at St. Paul’s Hospital.

This is a time of great grief for the parishioners of Janiuay and for his family and friends, and most especially to my brother priests in the Archdiocese. I am asking you to pray for the repose of his soul.

An official notification will be sent out to you all in the near future, together with funeral details when they have been arranged.”
