"The UCCP, as a church that is part of the universal church, strives to participate fully in God's mission in the world by following the example and priorities of Jesus Christ through the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Throughout its journey, the Church endeavors to respond to the call of times through its
various ministries and programs; grew and develop its character as an institution and
able to withstand different forms of adversities. The Church has to proclaim “good news” to the world, to teach and provide a meaningful experience in the community amidst an unjust social condition that contribute to suffering and imbalance of the entire creation . (UCCP Liturgical Guide 2022)
If we understand that God’s call to go out into the world and love our neighbor is a call to each of us, then we all have a responsibility to participate in the mission."
