The Miraculous Medal Parish Youth Ministry took part in the Jaro Archdiocesan Youth Day 2025 in Passi City last November 29–30, uniting with young people from across the archdiocese to celebrate faith, friendship, and mission.

It became more than an event—it was a reminder of how valuable our youth are in the Church. Their energy, creativity, and open hearts bring new life to our community. They are not just attendees but young leaders, carriers of joy, and the HOPE that moves the Church forward.

May this experience inspire them to keep following Jesus, guided by our Blessed Mother, as they continue to shine their light and uplift those around them.

The Parish of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal, together with the Vicariate of Saint Paul Youth Ministries, is blessed to host the Vicariate Monthly Taizé Prayer on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at 6:00 PM at the OLMMP Church, with the theme: “The Way of Christ, A Mission of Hope.”

The Taizé Prayer is a meditative form of worship marked by simple songs, scripture readings, moments of silence, and communal prayer. It is a time for us to pause from the busyness of daily life and come before the Lord with hearts open to His peace and love. This prayer gathering is an opportunity for us to be united not only as a parish but also as a vicariate, as we strengthen our bond of faith through prayer and song.

We warmly invite everyone—parishioners, families, youth, and friends from our vicariate communities—to join us in this evening of prayerful reflection. Inspired by the spirit of St. Vincent de Paul, who dedicated his life to service and compassion, may we also be moved to live out our faith in love and action.

Today, the Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Parish Youth Ministry held its first Parish-wide Monthly Taizé Prayer at the Our Lady of Peñafrancia Chapel, Brgy. Sto. Niño Sur.

With hearts open to the Spirit, the youth and parishioners joined together in a night of prayer, song, silence, and reflection, all rooted in the gentle and meditative spirit of Taizé. This blessed gathering was not only a moment of peace and stillness but also a testament of our community’s desire to grow deeper in faith, unity, and love for Christ.

As we begin this new journey of monthly Taizé prayers, may we continue to be strengthened by God’s presence, inspired to live out the Gospel, and drawn closer to one another as one parish family. May this encounter with the Lord nurture in us a heart that listens, a spirit that serves, and a life that reflects His light.

We also extend our heartfelt thanks to the Sto. Niño Sur Barangay Youth Ministry for graciously hosting this meaningful event.

The congress aims to foster a deeper understanding of Vincentian values and promote solidarity among young people in response to the challenges of the world and the Church.
