President's Praise & Progress - 2nd Quarter Updates
*FRIENDSHIP - PARTNERSHIP
How influential are we among our circle that our family members and friends become our most faithful partners in the work of missions? I am a strong believer of teamwork. No matter how independent my work seemed to be especially as someone in leadership for several decades, I acknowledge people who are behind and beside me in doing the tasks God entrusted especially when I assumed my responsibility with PABWE. I may be the one appointed to represent the organization but a number of men and women are meekly partnering with me specifically in achieving goals set every year.
So I try to maintain a strong and solid relationships not only among churches and pastors but most importantly with those who have been with me majority of my ministry years. I always grab every opportunity to not only keep in touch with supporters via email or thru messenger but to personally meet them when time allows.
*INTERNATIONAL - PARTNERSHIP
Virtual Meeting and mentoring spearheaded by the General Baptist Partnership represented by Pastor RJ Cabugwas, a member of GRBC Council.
It is always a blessing to witness leaders from different nationalities come together with the sole purpose of expanding Godโs Kingdom globally.
*REGIONAL - PARTNERSHIP
When pastors get overwhelmed with the bigger obligations, it helps to go back to where we began. One of those places is where our calling was affirmed.
After my speaking engagement at the PANAY-GUIMARAS Joint Laymen & Womisso Fellowship held at Guimaras State University in Buenavista, Guimaras, I was privileged to visit Rizal Fundamental Baptist Church, Jordan Guimaras, my weekend center during my Seminary Days at Doane Baptist Bible Institute in Iloilo City. It was a blessing to see how the church have grown 40 years after.
*CHURCH - PARTNERSHIP
To conclude the Gallentesesโ 9-month deputation, Living Water Baptist Church in Laguna, where Bro. Jaime served as Deacon and young professionals ministry leader, blessed them with prayers and support as they go back to Thailand.
It was as well a privilege for me to preach Godโs Word, promote PABWE and encourage the church being our new partner in cross-cultural missions.
*PROFESSIONALS - PARTNERSHIP
Initial virtual meeting with the NMC5 Working and Technical Committees in preparation for the 5th National Missions Congress in Thailand on November 1-4, 2027.
