Our hearts are filled with gratitude as we look back on the meaningful film showing of The Passion of the Christ held at the PSJP Parish rectory.

Together, we witnessed the profound suffering and boundless love of Jesus—a powerful reminder of His sacrifice for each one of us. It was more than just a film; it became a moment of deep reflection, prayer, and spiritual renewal.

Thank you to everyone who joined us in this sacred experience. May what we have seen and felt continue to inspire us to live with greater faith, love, and compassion.

“By His wounds, we are healed.” – Isaiah 53:5

Youth Lenten Catechesis | March 15, 2026

Earlier today, the youth gathered at the Patronage of St. Joseph Parish Rectory for a meaningful session of Basic Catechesis, deepening their understanding of the faith and reflecting on the true spirit of the Lenten season.

Through learning, sharing, and prayer, the young people were reminded that catechesis is not only about gaining knowledge, but about growing in relationship with God and living out the Gospel in everyday life.

May this formation continue to inspire our youth to walk faithfully with Christ and become active witnesses of His love in the Church and in the community.

“Remember that you are dust, and to dust you shall return.” (Genesis 3:19)

Today, February 18, 2026, on this solemn celebration of Ash Wednesday, we gathered as one Church to receive the blessed ashes — a sacred sign of repentance, humility, and our desire for conversion of heart. Marked with the Cross upon our foreheads, we begin our Lenten journey in prayer, fasting, and almsgiving, returning to the Lord with sincere and contrite hearts.

As the ashes were imposed, we were reminded of our human frailty and our total dependence on God’s mercy. May this holy season lead us to deeper repentance, renewed faith, and a more intimate union with Christ in His Passion, Death, and Resurrection.

“Repent, and believe in the Gospel.” (Mark 1:15)

Lord, create in us clean hearts, and renew a steadfast spirit within us. 🙏🏼✝️

Not just a gathering! Not just a team building!

This was a movement!

The Pototan Parish Youth Ministry’s Team Building Activity stands as a powerful reminder that formation never stops. It is in every laugh, every challenge, every shared struggle, and every prayer that we are shaping our youth, not only to create meaningful connections, but to rise as courageous, faith-driven leaders of tomorrow.

Today, we did not simply build teams, we strengthened brotherhood and sisterhood. We did not just play games, we forged character. We did not only spend time together, we invested in the future of our Church and community.

With deepest gratitude, we honor our Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Macario N. Sortido, whose guidance and unwavering support continue to inspire us to lead with faith and purpose.

Our heartfelt thanks as well to our supportive PAC Chair, Tita Elisa; to our loving Titas from the Hospitality Ministry, Tita Nelyn and Tita Cora; to Tita Jennifer from MBG; and to our dedicated Manong Sky; your generosity, time, and effort turned this vision into reality.

Because when a community stands together, leaders are born.

The mission continues. The fire burns brighter. The future begins now.

✨ Date with the Lord: Returning to Rest ✨

“In returning and rest you shall be saved; in quietness and trust shall be your strength.” – Isaiah 30:15

Last February 14, 2026 at 5:30 PM, we gathered in silence and prayer for a beautiful Taizé evening — a sacred pause from the noise of the world to simply rest in God’s presence. In the stillness, we listened for His gentle whisper and entrusted our burdens to His humble and loving heart.

May the peace we encountered that night continue to strengthen us, reminding us that true rest is found in Him alone. 🤍🕊️

Take this final day to prepare your heart. Slow down. Breathe. The Lord is waiting for you.

With grateful hearts, the Patronage of St. Joseph Parish joyfully offers thanksgiving to Almighty God for the grace-filled celebration of the Ordinary Jubilee Year 2025.

This sacred Eucharistic celebration is made even more meaningful as we are honored to be led by His Excellency, Archbishop Emeritus Jose Romeo O. Lazo, D.D., who will preside as Main Celebrant of the Eucharistic Mass at 4:00 PM.

As we remember the abundant graces bestowed upon our parish—graces that strengthened our faith, unity, and hope—we humbly thank God for His constant guidance throughout our journey.

Under the loving patronage of St. Joseph, may we continue to walk together as Pilgrims of Hope, living the Gospel with faith, charity, and missionary zeal. Spes Non Confundit.

As night fell and the world grew quiet, we gathered in faith to celebrate the Mass of the Nativity of the Lord. At 10:00 PM, under the gentle glow of candlelight and prayer, we welcomed the birth of Christ—the Light that pierces the darkness and brings hope to every waiting heart.

This sacred celebration reminded us that God comes to us not in noise or grandeur, but in humility and love. May the joy of this holy night remain with us, renewing our faith, strengthening our families, and filling our hearts with peace, as we rejoice in the birth of our Savior. 🌟🎄

In this Jubilee Year, the celebration of Christ’s birth invites us to begin anew. As pilgrims of hope, we are called to leave behind what weighs us down and to embrace the mercy, peace, and joy that flow from the manger. The Nativity reminds us that God walks with us in our journey, offering light in our darkness and hope for the road ahead, as we move forward renewed in faith and love.
